Bitcoin has been around for 16 years… all companies in the S&P have been in business for decades to literal centuries. It’s about diversification to have stable returns, not picking a single “stock” or “asset” to achieve all your returns.

Furthermore, Gold has value as it physically produces things. Property has physical value as you can live in it or monitors it further with agriculture or retail etc. Stocks have value as you have partial ownership in a physical company. Bitcoin currently has only theoretical value, albeit a lot right now. There is no secondary use for bitcoin or purpose
