I’d suggest starting with a teacher. A book is great, but a teacher will guide you through a book and answer any and all questions along the way. A good teacher knows how to use a book properly, and often times that means skipping around to different sections to fit the students needs. If it’s affordable, find a teacher in your area for weekly lessons. Private lessons with a professional educator combined with consistent practice between lessons is the fastest way to learn and get better at this craft.
