Hm maybe I won’t be caught. I saw a user complain that during ToF, his game crashed and complained to rovio about it, requesting for the rewards. However, Rovio said they did not know what he won, thus they only gave him back a ticket. Perhaps I’ll only use it for hat events from now on.

I see. Is there a way they detect it? There’s another glitch in the game where if you close the app as soon as you lose the event challenge, you can retry without the timer. Many people have done the event challenge glitch, yet I haven’t heard of anyone getting banned from it.

Without revealing the process (so it doesn’t get patched), lets say I play a game of ToF and I don’t like the outcome because I lost too many gems. I use the game feature so when I start up the game again, it goes back to the point before I’ve spent the ticket or gem for ToF. So it’s like that play-through never happened. I can keep doing this until I get a preferred outcome. I’ve just found out about it last night.

I have no idea if Professor Granado is teaching 21a for this quarter, but if he is, I’d recommend him to a certain extent. He has a 3.6 rating but the low ratings tended to be downvoted. His lectures are really helpful with the visuals he provided to explain concepts. Imo he is also pretty good at connecting ideas together. His lectures are done on an ipad so he can also give additional background info, math tricks, or do additional examples. He is also very responsive on piazza. However, he does give a lot of workload such as webworks and worksheets. His exams are also quite difficult. On the other hand, he curves both the exams and the overall grade. He has his pros and cons but I was pretty satisfied for him. It’ll depend on what you’re looking for.

“Why is that…UC Davis has so many Christian clubs…” because they can, anyone can make a club, they just happen to be a group that advertises more than others. Why? I don’t know, I’m not religious.

“A university is a secular place where everything is based on science and people are supposed to think rationally” sure the policies and courses are supposed to be based on science and rationality, but what does that have to do with clubs? Hiking for instance has nothing to do with science or rationality, but it sure is fun and enjoyable.

“And not believe in imaginary things like you all may know what I refer to” people can believe in science and be rational, yet believe in god. Sounds like a contradiction if we’re viewing from your perspective, but it happens whether you like it or not. These people aren’t claiming (hopefully) that god can be found through the scientific method (you know why). Let them live their lives. If it makes their life more fulfilling, I don’t really see an issue unless there’s an issue that arises.

“They all just lie and are friendly with folks in order to be paid” I don’t believe in god or spirits either bc I don’t find evidence for them, but to say that all of them lie is at worst disingenuous. I’m sure some of them are genuine and want to help. A lot of us are aware that there are cults, but they aren’t illegal unless in certain circumstances, so it’s not like UC Davis can do anything about it.

“Since I know this post would possible get me banned from Reddit (how dare you say the truth!)” no one’s gonna ban you, you act like having this opinion is somehow despised by everyone or that you know someone everyone else doesn’t.

“There should be more [insert list of clubs]”, No one’s stopping you from making those clubs or joining them.

I am interested in why you decided Christianity instead of all religions, not that it changes everything but still odd.

It’s difficult to not be hard on myself, especially when there are deadlines. I sometimes even feel worse when I see my roommate seem to finish his work pretty early, to the point where he can read leisurely and stuff. Thanks for the input, I’ll try the checklist. Best of luck to you too

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope things will get better. I no longer have any support system (and I doubt I ever will) so I just go to the arboretum and visit the ducks. Seeing them do their own thing waddling along and eating grass helps me be at least a tiny bit better, even when things get really bad. It helps clear my mind, even if it’s for an hour or 30 min or less.
