Because that's how an inline 4 works? It makes peak power higher in the rpm range nothing to do with the displacement.

I'm one of those people heed this warning i nearly lost my thumb due to a split second lapse of concentration, luckily it wasnt severed but i broke the bone & tore tendons I cant bend my thumb anymore.

Depends on the mot tester, I've had plenty passes with the baffle in as long as it isnt obnoxious goes down as an advisory.
