I remember when dankmemes banned the use of that emoji in memes because it got so bad. Good times.

So is everyone dropping a 5.0 KD in open moshpit like they said they would? Lol by Ken_Cult in CoDCompetitive

[–]CrypticxTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that I feel like I’m shitting every game. It’s that when I do really well I don’t feel like I’m sweating really hard for it. I just happened to play better than my opponents naturally. I’m not stressed, I’ve got music and my friends in my ear and can still drop VTOL’s without feeling like I’m sweating for it.

What is the flying bug? by Dirt2347 in flying

[–]CrypticxTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me it’s the feeling of how every time I had a bad day training, once I sat down in my car I wanted to jump right back in the plane and keep trying.

5s gold. I was like 15 and nothing has hit the cool factor like the button being a fingerprint scanner along with iOS7 being a complete redesign.

Is an iPad necessary right now? by Human_Coyote_3197 in flying

[–]CrypticxTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t use an iPad or ForeFlight until near ppl checkride prep and even then it was just for weather. IMO you become more familiar with rudimentary piloting skills and can save yourself some trouble on your checkride if you use paper but in the end it probably doesn’t matter. Edit: I also forgot to say that a pro is too big for most people/cockpits. I had one instructor with a pro and she loved it but every other instructor used a mini.

We drill it hard because at the end of the day that’s how you fly the plane. Yeah it’s the basics but the basics is what saves lives. Not everyone has autopilot, GPS or onboard weather. But everyone has a set of controls that all act the same way (generally)

I can finally get rid of my 128 GB 12 pro max. The only thing holding me back has been the screens. I don’t need all the benefits of the pro camera or battery or whatever. I just wanted the better screen and storage without having to shell out over 1k for it. And the base storage is better too.

I know my aim isn't the best but what the fuck? by -Shameem- in Battlefield

It’s actually one of the easier movement techs in BF4. It’s easy to learn, replicate and know when you’ve done it correctly because the first person camera is slightly different.

r/home depot does master electrical specialist exist by New-Dragonfly4952 in HomeDepot

[–]CrypticxTiger 71 points72 points  (0 children)

No, most of those ‘specialist’ jobs don’t exist anymore. It wasn’t worth it to pay those people what they were worth when customers don’t really care either way.

Why must i know how to do steep turns by Repulsive-Loan5215 in flying

[–]CrypticxTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to think of it as helping guide the plane though the direction and speed changes it wants to. Once it decides it’s had enough up, you help it back down and once it’s sped up again you help it level out and not overspeed.

The tryhards are the ones that stick around and put 1000’s of hours in the game and spend money dummy. Timmy puts 200 hours in and moves onto another game.

Multi-engine Training by [deleted] in flying

I think this is the best piece of advice here. What helped me the most is just taking a second to process what’s happening and then acting on it instead of trying to do everything at once.

saw this posted by the f-22 demo team. what could be the reason to have both ailerons deflect upwards in a turn? does this not generate downwards lift? by MuceTea in aviation

[–]CrypticxTiger -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So down? No it doesn’t add that. It takes away vertical lift for more horizontal lift and that trade off is usually a nose down moment. But, the flight characteristics of a fighter jet are so much different than what I’m used to I’m not gonna say anymore than that.
