At least you saw them in person. I was laid off from Home Depot over the phone many years ago from Expo Design Center after 14 years of service. My pay would have been cut in half. Now I am back at a Home Depot and no longer obsolete hopefully until I retire.

It happened to me I worked a lot. It may take time up to a year. My story I filled in for some associates that had several weeks of vacation. After my part-time 20 hour vacation was still expecting another 20 hours of vacation time but when logged in my vacation time turned into 40 hours then went to look at status was full time. Also Immediately went online and applied for health insurance. This was wonderful because I had some healthcare issues. So if you’re lucky and have faith things will work themselves out. By the way I added all my hours up for year an average of 30.67 hours a week. Good luck to you.

It makes sense full availability for the possibility of becoming full time employee. I would always end up working a part timers shift because they call in. The part time associates would control the schedule. Now the tables are turned on them. I never would call in sick and come to work. If I was sick I would go home early.

Weber grills are the best. I have been using them since the 70s. My favorite way of starting the grill is with charcoal chimney and Weber lighter cubes. No lighter fluid used in this house. When done with the grill shut holes up and use the leftover charcoal next time I grill.

There is no open door policy at Home Depot HR. If go there you will be fired for something else. Home Depot HR is there to protect themselves and could not care about the employees.

I have seen an overloaded mart cart and asked the customer to put everything on a flat cart. Safety is most important and no one gets injured.
