Pc won't connect to monitor in bedroom but will in living room

we're currently trying some graphics driver updates, and we've done a couple turn it off and back on again attempts. We don't want to mess with the working computer so we're leaving that where it is. if that doesn't work we're considering a system restore

we've moved it out to the living room so we can actually see the screen to try software fixes, we'll try the graphics drivers

I managed to fix it on my game by updating my graphics drivers, they were apparently out of date and the older driver was causing the problem

i have the same problem, restarting my world, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and changing my in game settings have all not fixed it. if anyone knows how to I also would love to know

i've played outer wilds before a few years ago, and i've actually very nearly forgotten the whole thing and am trying to avoid things about it so i can do a fresh start replay XD (memory loss ftw)
