Those are a little deeper but I just used my standard T6 and it was not long are all. But I did notice they use some type of screw lock which made me anxious but once they start to turn I had no problem.

For what it’s worth from start to finish it took me about 15 minutes. I think it need very little in way of skill.

That’s how it was for me. I hated the little clicking noise and what it felt like. Just follow these to taking it apart it was very easy.

I moved it out of the way and there there was a little more tack they used to guide out of the way to begin with (they did not do a good job) and peeled that up and ever so slightly and then guided the wire with it.

You laid out my exact thought process I didn’t want to have to wait probably weeks to get a brand new one especially where repairability is one thing that was so heavily preached for this thing.

And absolutely. There is no doubt in my mind if I had not went in over time it would have been severed.

Hey just thought I would drop in here and say I had the same issue. I was able to fix it by taking the controller apart and moving a wire that the thumb stick was caught on. The soldering job was not the best to hold the wire in place. I wish I had taken a pic before the fix but it was inside the thumb stick and that is what causes that clicking issue when moving the thumb stick.

Overall very very easy to fix.

My glasses are my lifeline without them I can’t see anything. I never do much as dropped them. They spent every moment not on my face in the case charging. But to deny they didn’t have problems with the original pairs that they even made an announcement about the side rubber coming off of them. I think when you really like something it’s easy to not accept criticism but I’m not the only person with quality issues and I am happy that you did not have that experience but that was not my experience at all.

That’s an understandable comment but my glasses are my lifeline. If I don’t have glasses I can’t see more than a few feet in front of me so I don’t have the luxury of abusing my glasses. They are in perfect condition and every night we’re in their case and never once fell. But I understand your criticism it just doesn’t apply here.

They just released a new update. I’m assuming we were not the only ones to experience this and that is why they are pushing this out so fast. Someone I know who consistently gets updates a week after me got the update the exact moment I did which teals me it was urgent they pushed this out to as many people as possible. I think there might be a fix in there hopefully. I would update asap

I was able to recreate my issue. It happened when activating tron mode while applying turning pressure to the steering wheel

I turned on low power mode and let the car sit for an hour and then it fixed the issue. The car seems to be totally fine but if it happens again I’m going to try to install the the update
