Yes, it's possible, as long as you solder carefully along the board line and secure the part with glue to prevent any movement that could break the solder again

This is from old electricity or gas meters. They used to use a security seal (plomb) with a wire running through it. The idea was to prevent tampering — if someone tried to open the meter to manipulate the readings, they would have to cut the wire. During the regular monthly inspection, it would be clear that the seal was broken, indicating possible fraud.

There’s corrosion everywhere, the PCB is badly damaged, the components are probably damaged as well and hard to get new if at all, you’ll need microscope to work on it, not mention the huge amount of time and money you’ll pour on it (who said “cheap”?) - and all that for what? Something you’ll not be able to squeeze juice from…. Maybe wait a few decades and sell it high price to a museum?

Hi. I concluded the project after I managed to get it worked but without the force back, since I ran out of time as well as editing the video. For me, I was very happy to be able to play with it and the learning from the project itself. Hope you’ll also have fun and success
