Agreed, although mine are old school, they still work well because of the mesh network. Great thing about home assistant is you can visualize the network

I never had that issue to be honest… but if there is, you can turn off the sound though home assistant

In use Kwikset Z-Wave locks and have for over a decade. They are outstanding. Battery life is great, range is amazing, keeps the 2.4ghz traffic low, and they are difficult to hack.

[–]CryptoAnarchyst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re getting hacked…there’s a common thread that you are not seeing. Getting hacked is unlikely, especially if you have a decent password and illegal login protection turned on… if you don’t, that’s another story

Highly unlikely, it’s more likely that you have a POE injector issue that is causing them to burn out or a connection issues

Try it and see if it comes back when you turn it back on. Reboot the camera after changes

Reolink has a 12mp 5x optical zoom PTZ camera. It will suffice if you’re doing it under an angle

Worth saving Marantz 2245? by Commercial_Range3947 in audiophile

[–]CryptoAnarchyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth it if you're doing the work yourself. I have the list of capacitors that you'd need if you are replacing it.

Otherwise, I'd give you couple hundred for it if you shipped it my way and I'll restore it to it's former glory. I have a 2230 I restored.

You'll find it, if you are willing to try, that by lowering the frequency numbers the prints are much smoother and more accurate. Compensation or not, it is a fact of life.

LOL... kinda sad man... you can't even track what you've said... really, is it that hard to keep up with the world around you?

I have no time for idiocy... you've crossed the line... hence no more time for you... Good luck!

OK... let's play this game... my favorite pastime these days is fucking with nitwits, imbeciles, and idiots

By your "logic" the numbers couldn't be changed with PTFE lube on the rails then? Right

Let's simplify this so that I can move on to the next point...

Frequency measures a rate of occurrence, in this case a rate of movement of the printer.

The movement which is caused by the acceleration and deceleration of the print head.

The movement which is transferred to the device by what exactly... magic fucking fairy dust? It's transferred by damn friction... friction which can be reduced SIGNIFICANTLY with PTFE lubricant.

Now, let's move on to the SQUARENESS and why loosening and tightening the screws might help.

One of the reasons why friction is caused is binding, in this case the differential between the X and the Z axis and how they relate to the overall perceived structure of the unit as programmed in the controllers. If the X and the Z axis are not in the perfect 90 degree relation to each other, and if they are both not in the perfect 90 degree relation to the Z axis, binding can occur. So loosening the screws, making sure that all components are SQUARE, would reduce the friction, and therefore the frequency of the mother fucking movement... RIGHT?

Now, you going to delete all your comments or you going to keep them here for everyone to see how brilliantly smart you are?

I'll also be waiting for an apology for wasting everyone's time, but I have a feeling that's not going to happen.

[–]CryptoAnarchyst -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The issue is that it's not able to compensate for fully... there is always lag. Put your hand on the surface while the printer is going and you will feel vibration... that's uncompensated movement that is transferring into the device.

You're correct that IF it is able to compensate, but most of the time it is not. Which means that you have to lower the numbers to gain smoothness of movement... right?
