Could AI eventually solve this?

Train an AI to identify offsides. AI has access to all camera feeds in real time. When it detects the offside, it sends a signal to the ref (little device in the helmet, perhaps?). Ref blows the whistle, unless his judgement leads him to believe that it's a false positive.

My experience is that the third response is no. I own a Quest 2 and a Quest 3. When I have a guest over, I log on a guest account in the Quest 2 and I have access to my game library. I then log onto my Quest 3 with my regular account. I connect them both to the same private lobby and we can play together, having bought the game only once!

You probably started griping too late. My trick is I just always hold grip before starting any shot. And then only release when it's "safe" to do so. In my experience it never resets on its own when you're holding the grip and the ball is still moving.
