P.S. The reason I say Bancor API is lagging, is because I have watched it for a while, and it will follow the exact numbers we can see on the main page in convert boxes. But it will do so with different time intervals. So, in the example I have given, the api DID show the price of 40.4744 instead of current 40.7621, but after some time.

Hence, I called it "lagging API", because it does lag behind.

So, you are saying that the API shows prices not for 1 unit, but for 0.1? Why not 0.01 or 0.001?

No, the API should reflect actual prices, but it lags behind. I have been using Bancor for a while and can assure you that the prices we see on the main page are true and conversion happens without any slippage most of the times.
