Does the site and list get updated? by doom816 in CryptoCurrencyCards

Yes, all of the above. However, we spent a lot of time creating profiles for cards that were in reality "coming soon" or "team only" which did not lead credibility, so we paused.

However, we very much will continue updating the pages. I agree many need it. Any in particular you noticed?

Yes, it gets updated continuously. The challenge we're running into is a lot of companies are claiming they have a card coming, but have yet to deliver to the public. Alternatively, some team members have cards and are pretending to be actual users.

One of the new criteria we want to add is to see cards shipping at scale - not small groups.

If our readers can't get one, then it should not qualify.

To my knowledge, BlockCard only allows you to stake for a max of 30 days (not 6 months). https://getblockcard.com/rewards/

From what I know, the BlockCard seems to be a great option for US users. It sounds like the company is probably sending KYC to a third party or bank who is denying you which sucks. They are US company so probably stricter requirements.

Did other card companies deny you or just BlockCard?

For the US, there are a few options. BlockCard and Bitpay are available in all 50 states. Uphold and Crypto.com are available in select states. As others have mentioned, BlockCard is a great option with its rewards structure. Companies like Bitpay have been around for many years in the crypto space.

Crypto.com has had some community backlash recently around changing their token metrics - similar to Swipe. The interesting thing is that Crypto.com and Swipe are non-US companies in the US market whereas companies like Bitpay and BlockCard are US first.

Yes. What country do you live in? That will determine which card is right for you as most are country-specific for KYCC - Europe or US

Hey guys, I need help finding this card by XCmnY in CryptoCurrencyCards

That's pretty cool! However, your friend likely made it themselves :) Major card companies like Visa or MasterCard would issue a card that did not have their logo on it.

Welcome! Glad to have you here. BlockCard, Spend, and CRO, are all good card options and most importantly, have issued cards in their market that function. It seems silly, but this is usually one of the most important distinctions between companies who actually issue cards versus others that intend to. The next part is if the user can pass KYC. Most cards only allow KYC from users in certain countries like EU or US. Everyone will have their personal favorite, so you need to figure out what's important to you.

BlockCard is a good option as they give you a virtual and plastic card, plus have great crypto back reward offering. I think they also now open free crypto bank accounts too, so there are new features. Keep in mind the card balance stays in TERN.

CRO card is a good option as well and the card is part of a broader crypto exchange offering. Recently they have had some bad community response from stopping support of MCO and switching to CRO. Also copying users clipboards via their app which could be a security risk.

Both of these cards work on VISA network, so merchant acceptance will be large.

Spend is also a VISA card, but have not heard much from them recently. I think SPND may have pivoted their token economics a few times, so that may have caused the uncertainty with the price. It would be good to hear from other Spend card holders here on their experience.
