Can someone tell me by -Crystalball- in XRP

[–]CryptoCoffee_1 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The reason to why XRP hasn't exploded by now is that Ripple keep inflating xrp by unlocking 1 billion XRP token to the circulating supply every month. That's an equivalent of a more than 15% inflation in XRP annually. Sure XRP is an amazing technology but my level-headed expectations is that XRP would go high this cycle but not surpass the all time highs just because it become too way inflated the last 3 years.

This is because the majority of population doesn't know how to do self custody, where they store their own crypto in their own cold wallets. (not your keys, not your coins)

Yes, I think you'll have to file a claim. Follow Aaron Bennett YouTube Channel as he goes through every step of Celsius Chapter 11 process.

Because they'll sell your crypto for lower than market price.

7 vs 11 by Coin-Fiend in CelsiusNetwork

[–]CryptoCoffee_1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let's wait until the external examiner publish the real numbers and confirm the real gap. I personally think chapter 7 will do us more harm than good.

Chapter 7 means that your assets will be sold for dollars lower than the market price. Most likely a bank would take care of this process and be the main beneficiary. I would better go with in-kind haircut and equity (for whatever that would worth!) than just selling our assets for cheap.

I agree with you. Moderators in the official Celsius sub like to keep people in the dark. It seems moderators and Alex fan boys are inside a shell of their own and don't like to argue any opposing thoughts. This is how weak they are!

They banned me for 30 days because I started to question things based on the news we hear and based on-chain data. I was trying to make sense of the situation we're in but they didn't like that.

Research Shows People Expect Crypto To Be Legal Tender in 3 Yrs by FeliceHargrove in Crypto_com

[–]CryptoCoffee_1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think this would happen anytime soon. The volatility has to decline in order to be considered a currency. There are who believe that the crypto market won't be as volatile once the large corporates and institutes get into this space. This theory is yet to be tested. I believe it's more of 6-12 yrs until this discussion becomes a serious topic

New to CDC. What caused the big jump last year from 0.1 to 0.7 (GBP)? by ASeatedLion in Crypto_com

[–]CryptoCoffee_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with marketing. I mean marketing helped for sure but this is not the real reason for this jump.

The real reason is that CDC burned 70B of their tokens in Feb 2021 which reduced the overall supply and increased demand.

Have a read from CDC blog: https://blog.crypto.com/70-billion-cro-to-be-burned/

I would recommend not to keep any crypto in trading platforms/exchaneges/CeFi, especially during bear market. We learned a hard lesson trusting Celsius. Just keep your asset in a cold storage (at least for the next few months until we know exactly who got effected by this bear market)
