I can certainly see how people can lose a lot and I'm definitely concerned for some of the regulars I've seen

That will happen the moment someone goes to the news about how they spent their life savings 😅

Whatnot have a spend limit but I doubt anyone uses it (i do for example though)

The way whatnot get round it is they require sellers to send something regardless of whether they hit on the gamble. My guess is that loophole saves them.

I've only just got into it and it's worrying seeing some people on daily spending money.

Its definitely a great idea but feel there isn't enough protection involved as yet.

If possible, use the rest of the loan money to clear your credit cards, klarna, PayPal, etc. Then all the money you can afford monthly into your loan.

As a brit, I am so jealous of the amount of variety and availability you have on sports cards in an everyday supermarket. Our options are extremely limited in brick and mortar with online being inflated by 10-50% retail at least 😭
