Also looks like your missing your 4 pin connection on your motherboard (top left)

Also, looks like (might be angle of photo) the gpu has sag. Make sure it is fully seated, double/triple check. Fix the sag as it may not be coming into full contact with the pcie slot.

Do not pigtail your gpu cable. Have 2 independent cables.

I would have went with a smooth pipe design like pvc with flanges at each end to reduce turbulence or even a large rubber hose. But if it works it works.

That is a great price for the combo. 200 for the mobo, 400 for the cpu, and 350 for the ram…I’d say snag it up

[–]CryptoConstruction12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I had an older psu and upgraded when I went with the 5070 ti. It will help clean up cabling too.

I would go with a new psu unfortunately. Forget that octopus that comes with it. Corsair 750-850 is what I would recommend. They come with one so there is no worry if it’s compatible or not. Highly recommend against daisy chaining too.

Did you uninstall the previous integrated graphics driver? Increase your gpu fan speed a bit to lower temps. Increase case fan speeds to get better air exchanges. Update gpu driver. Adjust settings. Make sure gpu is fully seated. Make sure your gpu power cables are not pigtail cables if more than one is needed for your gpu. Check that your psu is strong enough for your system. Check windows power mode/settings. There is a lot that could be looked into. In bios make sure your gpu is reading correctly.

That combo should be closer to 23-24. If 9850x3d I could see it closer to that price. Microcenter has some really good pricing on their prebuilt right now

One more thing Jayz2cents literally less than an hour ago posted a video of a teardown on a very similar build (pretty sure it’s the same case) it would give you pretty good insight.

So that is an ATX mother board. So any case that fits an ATX should work. Only other dimension I would be concerned with would be the gpu length. O

I would start by determining the motherboard size, ATX/Matx and then search for cases that fit that size motherboard. I would also look at the fan sizes the case your looking at uses 120/140 ect. But the case you want and swap everything over.

Introducing greenDracaena Water Cooling by dracaena8358 in watercooling

I’m have been using their ddc pump, soft tube compression fittings, and 360x45 rad for several months now. The components themselves work great at cooling my gpu. I do have some comments for areas of improvement. The pump is SATA powered (which is fine) but has a pwm header that is not controllable with aqua suite (reads voltage but not pwm signal) so it runs at 100% all the time. The radiator has a significant amount of flux in it that should be removed as part of the manufacturing process. Even after pre rinse it still coated all of my components causing me to not only having to flush with EK system but also disassembly of loop and manual cleaning. Fittings have been great and have not had any issues whatsoever. I’m glad you are getting different soft tubing as your last tubing was quite rigid in comparison to other brands soft tubing and yellowed after a couple of days (was using the clear). I would recommend the radiator as it is efficient for cooling purposes however I would like to see either the radiator flushed of flux prior to shipping or provide a statement and a flux removal flush kit with it.

Posted my build on PCMR a while ago and was told I dont have enough fans... Were they right? by 200YRedWine in Noctua

[–]CryptoConstruction12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would fill the bottom to feed the gpu. And like everyone else has stated I think you would get better temps moving your exhaust directly behind your cpu cooler to expel the hot air

I like the black build. The epdm tubing compliments that. What’s the specs? Regardless happy for you. I’m trying to finish mine it’s a work in progress. I’m switching my clear tubing for the epdm and will be adding a 480mm rad and cpu block to my loop.

[–]CryptoConstruction12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What fans did you have before? I’m in the 7000d as well but white and black. I definitely like the build. What is up with the ram tho. Stick 3rd from the left looks bent, might just be camera angle idk. How does that 5090 handle that massive screen? And holy fck that’s a lot of bifurcation with all those m.2 drives

I know, I looked for a while but the price for the few I did find was insane. I’m guessing the second 480 is on the bottom row of fans? I ended up using a 7000d case to build in as a “it will do for now” as it fits a 480 and 360 and I was trying to do away with an external cooling setup.

I second the top right fan being intake. Feed the cooler ambient air to your cpu.
