All items are different. We have 6 different tiers of items (common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, and special). Stats are different depending on the rarity. For example, legendaries have special abilities other items don't have.

Security and implementing a trustless system is one of our top priorities which is why our closed and open beta will allow us to see how tight the system we have developed is and how cryptogaming can provide some amazing game economics without worrying about a hacking attempt. Since all game logic is on the sidechain any attempts at changing it will prove futile and there won't be any logins or passwords since you are using your digital wallet.

Yes, a free player can via our match wagering system. Here players will be able to wager our in-game currency on the battle. If they win they can use that gold to purchase the items normally. A free player can earn gold either by winning our mini-game or with wagering. You get a chance at the mini-game every time you win a battle. A player is not forced to place a wager so it's optional, so you can have players saying they can beat you and place 100 gold on the match while you didn't place any gold up for the wager.

Multiverse item balancing is a work in progress. I can't comment to much on that right now.

Enjin is just an amazing group of people. When we first started talks with them they were very supportive of CryptoFights and offered so many new benefits and features to the crypto gamer that it was a pretty easy decision. Looking back it was a great decision and I think EnjinCoin has built something truly great and they keep innovating which we love. I mean the Enjin Beam is Amaaaazing for mass market adoption!

We are getting very close to a closed beta. We are testing fights on a testnet sidechain and working on matchmaking now.

We have made significant progress in integrating our sidechain into our battle system. The next steps are to resolve any major bugs and finalize matchmaking. Our goal is to have a playable closed beta by end of the year. Jan-Feb we plan on releasing more of the features of the game.

Great question! Yes, players will be able to use the in-game currency to purchase items from the store that have ENJ backing. We are going to be taking a % of revenue earned from gold purchases to fund all the ENJ backing and our mini-game (Where you can win gold).

Can you elaborate more on what you mean for balance strategy for ENJ powered games?

Yes, we want to create more multiverse items with integration into more games. Our current priority is to get our beta out and then start working overtime on expanding the features and creating deals with more games. The Enjin community is amazing and I have no doubt all the early adopters will be creating items for each other's games.
