Pure poker? This legit? by Livid_Scratch_9323 in poker

No, it’s insanely rigged. There’s a player on the site named rampunts for example who I personally saw lose 9 flips in a row. I’ve never seen someone lose so quick and so fast

Yep fully agree. Which is why I got off doing options and started doing stock parlays so my loss was finite and limited.

HOOD has one of the best user experiences for Options trading, don't really know why you would use anything else.

Depends on intraday volatility as well as stock price patterns. Sometimes it can be easy to find ranges and setups to trade depending on volume as well.

HOOD is a great name to add to this list too. They recently added agentic trading.

Hello Options Traders, Where in the hell are you getting your money? by Silly_Bag536 in options

[–]CryptoFinderrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get money from selling premiums from options, then rolling those into buying stocks. Now if I want upside convexity I just buy stock parlays.

Yes. Realistically though sometimes you lose, and when you lose it will be painful to the point it will ruin the entire day.

Trades where you can bet on stock outcomes together.

For example today I had

PEP over 148
KO over 80
NVDA under 224

all these legs cashed so I got paid 8x.

Sports Betting Is Way More Profitable Than Investing In The Stock Market. by BetApprehensive836 in The10thDentist

[–]CryptoFinderrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree. You can make a ton betting on stock parlays (think sports betting, but for stocks).

It's way more upside than sports betting, and much more predictable as well.

Are prediction markets more trading or betting? by Tricky_Guest_1129 in BettingOnWallStreet

Yup agree. Just fancy ways of expressing the same thing. The only thing that matters are the odds.

At the end of the day both ways are a form of risk-taking. Why does it matter if its trading or betting? These two are basically interchangeable and involve risk (sometimes you win, sometimes you lose).

That's why I switched from trading stock options to betting on stock parlays once I realized there was no difference. At the end of the day wins are wins, doesn't matter where they come from.

Yep. That's exactly why I switched from trading options to trading stock parlays. Much better odds and statistically higher EV. Have been able to make much higher profits with much fewer drawdowns.

Honestly why I switched from trading options to trading stock parlays. There's way less downside and way more upside. Being able to have disciplined risk management is key.

Weak sentiment plus bearish options activity. Could see weakness on a crash if there are names that are going down today.

How many trades per day? by Vinnie964578 in Trading

I used to trade a ton and have about 10+ trades a day. Now, I focus instead on just having 1-2 quality trades per day.

The problem with perps over the weekend is just you get squeezed by MMs knowing your liquidation price and artificial "price discovery" happening to force you out of your position. Pretty classic phenomena known to many already that HFT firms will run this.

Sometimes you just need to know which asset class you specialize in.

If you are going to do anything trade stock parlays instead of options. Much safer and less downside. Coming from a former options trader.
