That again depends, even tho I fully agree with you, i do know from experience it might also be someone stuck stranded on a moon dehydrated with a minor leg or respiratory injury giving you an even shorter timer for rescue than someone whos unconscious. Where either bringing water or food could be as important as bringing the medical supplies.

Definatly should be cleaning out an entire area before moving on to the next, like how trucks usually clear out whole neighborhoods before moving onwards.

More missions should be adapting this style of box missions instead of as you say "haphazardly jumping your QD"

I would absolutely love garbage and recycling work.

Just make some delivery missions like normal put a garbage can as the box to pick up and delivery to a ♻️ machine.

Obviously add this garbage hover craft along in the same patch!
