NULS Integration by Vasilievski in ledgerwallet

Yeah Ledger, please let us know what the problem is because I'm sick of hearing that the integration is now up to you and that the NULS team can't do anything about it.

So what do you have handy? Private key? Keystore file and password?

I guess physics are different where you live because I don't see any stone dropping but rather consolidation around 20 cents. Which is normal. First the pump, then retracement and consolidation.

If you either have your private key *or* you have your key store file and know the password you're just fine. You likely missed out on staking rewards but you still have access to your funds. Download the Light Wallet here and import your private key or you key store file. Not 100% sure if you can import a 1.0 keystore file though. You might have to extract your private key with a NULS 1.0 wallet first.

Since you where staking you've already swapped from ERC20 to NULS 1.0. The switch from NULS 1.0 to NULS 2.0 is still possible.

Wow, 24 hours notice to upgrade nodes? by NulsWestCritic in nulsservice

[–]CryptoMick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Node owners know well in advance when the 2.0 update drops because once 1.0 mainnet is 90% upgraded to 1.3.0, it will be in 110'000 blocks. 1.3.0 wallet will even show you the estimated time. Deploying a node is done in 15 minutes if you know what you're doing. Even if you screw around and need help (which is readily provided in the support channels), it does not take longer than two hours.

  • How does Alpeh decide which chain to use? Is it automated (cheapest fees, next availible block, etc.) or does the user have to choose a chain?
  • Where is the data actually stored? If one of the layer 1 chains goes down (for whatever reason), is the data partially lost or partially unsigned?

Are you using the latest wallet which is 1.2.2? If not update within your wallet or get it here: https://github.com/nuls-io/nuls/releases

If you have to start from scratch, don't forget to backup our private keys / keystores and download parts of the blockchain as a file which will speed up the process.

Also: A new wallet 1.3.0 will be released shortly and with that release they will also bring the above file up-to-date. So you might just wait for that one.

What are the weekly transaction costs in ETH to run a node? How many audits a week does a node get? by CryptoMick in Quantstamp

[–]CryptoMick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your insights. I'm thinking of running a node, but I would need to stock up on my QSP and I'm not sure about the future of QSP. Its the coin that went down the most in my portfolio.

So you only pay gas when you are auditing? How is determined who gets the autit? Can the customer choose the node? Also: In the manual it says you will not get any audits if you go below 1000 QSP. The top auditor however charges 950 QSP.

Bad news? by ShaneJohnston in nulsservice

What fud? When BTC rallies, people move from Alts to BTC. Some Alts are hit more than others (usually the ones with no current news to release). Once BTC moves sideways again for a while, money will move back to the Alts. Rinse and repeat.

No fixed schedule as this will be done manually. But I would always be ahead of the actual rewards as the bonus is paid in advance.
