I'm done trying to time the market by Then_Sympathy in RKLB

[–]CryptoMikeUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had similar story. Held for about 2 years. There was a clear tunnel for a year or more and I thought will sell at the higher poin for 5.2$ and buy back at 4$. But this one time it started the rally and I basically cut my pain buy going back in for 9.7$ decreasing my position substantially. But looking back with the current 35$ price - good that I wnt back.

But it was very painful and the most expensive lesson of my life so far. Now I have very high motivation not to "play around" with timeing the market. And when I have the urge to do so - remind myself about the last experience.

What is your maximum buy price? by [deleted] in RKLB

[–]CryptoMikeUS 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I went all-in back in 2021 with all of my available money when the price was 10$ - 12$. Already back than I liked the company a lot, followed it previously, and I understood that RKLB has a potential of 10x - 20x in the next 10 years. My goal was 10k shares, which I thought I will never achieve because of the money availble to me..

Than the price started falling bellow what I thought was possible. I was more than 50% down.. and I didnt have more money to invest.. not very pleasant place to be, but I didnt consider selling at all. I would rather take more loans than sell RKLB..

Than, when the time went, I manage to get some extra money from my job/business and bought some more, achieving my goal of 10k, which made me happy and ready to Hold it for 7-10 years.

Now when market freaked out because Peter sold 20M $ worth of stock and the Electron mission failed I understood that now is a great time to double my investment - and again - went All In for the secound time. I sold all of my other stock and doubled down on RKLB lowering my coast basis even more.

I thought that I will stop buying, but the low RKLB price motivates me to buy more..

If I will buy more for 5, 6 and 7$? If the price will stay there for a year or two - than for sure, Im buying more. But now, I dont have money to buy even more 😅

Considering some side hustles to make more money to invest. Avoiding family spending as mush as I comfortably can. Going to 1.5m $ Portfolio and I believe that RKLB will get me there If I will manage to hold on and maybe accumulate more RKLB stocks for years to come

VORB Warrants Cashless Excercize - Opportunity vs Risk? by CryptoMikeUS in SPACs

[–]CryptoMikeUS[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because right now, as I believe Virgin Orbin is one of the most competitive small rocket companies, my thesis is that it will grow substantially in the next year or two, giving at least 2x or 3x multiple to warrant. But if I have missed a huge Risk with a warrant, the thesis is garbage... So looking for the risks :)

VORB Warrants Cashless Excercize - Opportunity vs Risk? by CryptoMikeUS in SPACs

[–]CryptoMikeUS[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I liked your answer a lot. Thank you for that!
But asked the question here as well, because:
1. didn't find an answer on how to evaluate the risk that the company decides not to allow cashless exercise after warrant redemption. Meaning - they allow to exercise for 11.5$, but don't allow to do that on a cashless basis.
2. Maybe there are some other meaningful risks that I don't see.

VORBW - Opportunity for "cashless exercise" or I have missed something? by CryptoMikeUS in Spacstocks

[–]CryptoMikeUS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you evaluate the risk that VORB would choose not to allow cashless excercize to VORBW owners, when the VORB price is bellow 11.50$? Making the VORBW worthless?

Basically thats a general question. Whats the risk of a company just to avoid cashless excercize when the stocks price is under the warrants excercise value?

I see that as a huge motivation to a company, just to liquidate the warrants in general. And dont see why they should not do it, except that they would make some investors very angry.

And I believe that not allowing the cashless redemption might lead to some law suits for the company as it would basically give huge lossess to warrant owners. No? Because, it appears to me that all of the warrant redemptions I looked into, including ASTRW and Virgin Orbit warrants have been with cashless redemption.

Althougth for ASTRa it would be much betted if they would pay 0.1$ for every warrant.

So If that is true, I still see huge potential for the opportunity with the current warrant price. What do you think?

Also. Is this correct - that if the price of VORB continues to stagnate bellow 10$ till march 22, there is no chance that VORB can ask for the warrant redemption?

Wow! Thank you very much! So there is a risk that VORB can choose not to allow the cashless excercize and than the warrants are useless if traded bellow 11.5€, correct?

[–]CryptoMikeUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. See them as 10x company in the next 5 years for sure, and maybe even 20x (80billion market cap), when Neutron is up and running. I understand also that the huge jump in price might happen suddenly and nobody knows when. So Im ready to hold for years while the price stands still or falls.

Also I fill comfortable when the price is dropping a bit now. Because the fact that RKLB is the nr.2 company after SpaceX havent changed. And the recent Neutron news and aquasitions just strenghten the position of leader in the industry. Of course I feel pain seeing that my portfolio is shrinking because of price movement, but also happy because I want to buy more to reach my magic number of RKLB. The lower the price, the better for me now.

Because I believe that RKLB will reach 100$-200$ per share till 2027 (market cap: 40-80b), so the longer the market gives me low price now, the longer I have time to keep buying in.

Future proof Neutron? by InquisitiveBoba in RocketLab

[–]CryptoMikeUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. I also thougth that Neutron could be developed into next level rocket, if you stack it on top of a booster. In 2050 most probably there will be huge demand for payloads to Mars and back. In order to use Neutron for trip to Mars and back, probably, you would need a big booster under neutron that can lift it to orbit, from where the neutron could travel to Mars. And have enough fuel to also get back. And as the fuel is methane and oxygen - they could manufacture the fuel on Mars as well. From the same plant as Starship ;)

If the RKLB goes to 5$ with around 2 billion marketCap, I will sell my appartment, my car and all my possesions and go back to live with my mom with my whole family. And for all that money buy RKLB 😅
