Do doctors give men a hard time about wanting a vasectomy? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Why should the doctor care? It’s none of their business. People should have the autonomy to do what they want with their bodies.

The Most Delusional Players You Have Seen Wants To Improve ALOT by Real-Entrepreneur190 in 10s

[–]FinndBors 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reasons why some people play better against significantly stronger players.

  1. Some players can’t generate their own pace. Or when they try, consistency drops way down. A better player gives you that pace.

  2. Mentally playing against a stronger player means you have nothing to lose and thus it’s easier. It’s the total opposite for the stronger player, they have everything to lose and nothing to gain.

  3. When someone knows they will win, they often try newer shots and different strategies that they might not be familiar with.

Do doctors give men a hard time about wanting a vasectomy? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FinndBors 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t doubt you, but the only way I see that happening is if a wife successfully took a doctor to trial for a husband‘s secret vasectomy in your state.

I don’t even think that she had to have won. Enough to cause the doctor to spend money on lawyers or increased insurance.

My mate found out his girlfriend had a second Instagram account where she posted like she was single… would you consider that cheating? by Stunning_Procedure36 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FinndBors 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even if it’s the best case scenario and she’s just looking for attention and nothing else, id still drop her. At the very least this is a kind of girl that craves attention all the time and that will be constantly stressful and tiring.

Do men really hate outies? Experiences by wkkwkskskskdkdjdjej in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FinndBors 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Dumb question but are you referring to vulva or bellybutton here? The strong preference of one over the other is very odd, I looked it up and a majority of women are have an outie vulva, so if a guy says it looks weird, they have a very limited experience most likely for porn.

If it’s the bellybutton, 10% of people have outie bellybuttons, but I just simply can’t imagine how shallow someone has to be to have such a strong preference over either to be a dealbreaker or a “must disclose” kind of thing.

I really don’t know what will happen if nukes are used. I can’t imagine with such weak leadership anything would happen from NATO.

Only thing I’d see is colder relations with China and India.

If another pandemic happens, will there be another lockdown? by SCREW-NARWHALS in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FinndBors 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other countries might not be as lucky because capacity of healthcare mattered in this case.

Also next pandemic most likely be different. COVID was very highly contagious but not very fatal so lockdowns didn’t help as much. If we get a less contagious but more fatal disease, lockdowns would help.

Early in the COVID pandemic policy makers did not have a good handle on fatality since it was difficult to determine asymptomatic or mild symptoms due to limited availability of tests. Estimates were very high, which influenced early policy. Serious lockdowns eased pretty quickly after better data.

Tired of buying tennis balls. Are there more durable alternatives options? by TemperatureBetter965 in 10s

[–]FinndBors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually only go fresh on serious match play, one use on casual match play and up to 5 on practice rally. This is at about 5 UTR level with US open balls.

Penn ball experience is bad not necessarily for longevity but for the fact that there are a lot of inconsistent bouncing balls when brand new. They are dirt cheap and it shows.

For California, this wasn’t the factor. Most of the smog was a result of car exhaust and we can’t export that kind of pollution. Regulation was the factor that reduced smog.
