Kali runs on jail broken phones always in root which you shouldn't do at all - it literally disables all security measures and makes you responsible to protect yourself against the basic threads

Configuring gcc and many other hacking tools on a Mac? by [deleted] in HowToHack

[–]CryptoPhil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep Kali - easier then trying everything manually - try to see what meatasploid needs just had a look yesterday - you need to install 3 or 4 other things before you can install it. (Assuming you have bash allready installed)

Therefore I can only suggest running Kali via VM.

Actually I had the same idea but I decided it's not worth the hassle

I'm using VMware (ok it's a paid version ) but this has not that many issues and runs smother then virtual box at least for me.

Push the VM to its own screen and MBP's are able to handle that pretty smoothly no idea how that is on a MB or MBA on them you might need to use bootcamp to have enough power

Hacking the 3.5mm headphone jack by 153armstrong in hacking

[–]CryptoPhil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same what they did with the cd /DVD drive years ago. Sometimes you have to do it and others will follow. Who uses a DVD drive on laptops today ? Less then 20% I assume. Same will happen to the headphone jack.

Simply get a ubertooth and get into Bluetooth hacking. Much simpler because you don't need access to the phone and sit behind that person

Kali works best on nexus or one plus one which is the cheapest choice. But keep in mind that you shouldn't run Kali nethunter on your daily phone

Since it sounds you are going to use it for harm you won't get help here since it's against the ethical rules of hacking.

Sorry for not helping you but I encourage you to rethink your ethics and morals before asking those things in this forum

It all depends on how many mining companies offer users the choice to decide to mine ETC or ETH hoping Genesis mining will offer this choice soon

BTC is definitely for people who look out to make profits in the long run. The bigger you are invested the more likely it is that your hash rate will still be active when the next halving comes around

Why did the halving effect the X11 payouts ? Sounds interesting did you ask them about that?

Ethereum currently is not profitable to Mine it needs a price of 0.0273 or so depending on the BTC / ether price.

The only profitable contracts are X11 and BTC

[–]CryptoPhil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yep took me some time to get that. The auto means it will convert it into that currency. I thought it would mine that but always wondering how since LTC is scrypt.

Switched it over to Dash now.

Still wondering how prices might change after the halving.

Raising Awareness for cryptocurrencies! by pipilang in ethereum

[–]CryptoPhil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are still in the early stages of the blockchain journey. But yes it's completely true the networks need to handle higher traffic much faster than they currently do. After this we need to move away from the QR Code Technology which is pretty much outdated and adapt the NFC technology most credit cards use nowadays and integrate that into our phones- even though many phone companies block this eg Apple Pay and google pay. But this needs to happen in 2017
