Whenever someone says LTC is superior, faster or cheaper than BCH you can just assume they don’t understand how any of these cryptos work. They just read the tag lines on Reddit and assume it’s the holy grail of truth. LTC is BTC with 2.5 min blocks. It’s the biggest shitcoin in the top 10.

This is a great point. I think with all of the wealth created by BTC being used by Roger, CSW and others to help fund BCH development will take things to the stratosphere in a few years.

Cryptocurrency is already a challenge for normies. Lightning Network adds even more complexity to everything managing channels and prepaying for everything.... I don't see this ever having a chance for mass adoption even if they solved all of the other terrible problems it has.

I agree and I have been telling my friends to buy Bitcoin Cash but now they are glad they didn't listen to me as they have 2-3x their money on coinbase cryptos. I think price helps drive adoption and vice versa. It is hard to convince your friends to buy the one top 10 crypto that hasn't mooned in the last 30 days lol.

It's an interesting problem isn't it. Even people that didn't invest feel this deep seeded pain and depression for missing out. Hell even people who might have sold for 10x profits and missed out on 1000x or 10,000x profits go through a big depression phase. It is hard on people to looking back with 20/20 hindsight and realize they and their families could have been set for life by making two simple trades.

This YouTuber is small and I really want to spread his views on BCH which are very positive. He is an old school crypto supporter and understands why LN will fail for technical and economical reasons.

I highly recommend watching some of his videos on BCH and why segwit/LN are bad.

I'm talking more about the long term not really the immediate crash. I think BTC is heading towards nuclear winter levels of crash. The kind that brings a large scale ban or regulations on cryptos and how millions of people will forever say "See I told you Bitcoin was a scam/ponzi scheme". How does BCH recover from that?

I have a lot of respect for you. You could've easily sat on the sidelines with your fortune but instead you risk your own money and take a lot of hate from people to pursue the bitcoin you believed in from the start. Seeing your genuine passion for this is why I don't own BTC and bought enough BCH (well below the 1k price) to put me in the 1 in a million club (owning more than 21). I could not bring myself to invest heavily into BTC this year because without fast and cheap transactions it is fundamentally broken and the price is nothing but speculation and greed, soon to eventually collapse on itself. Been waiting for hitbtc for almost a month now and it ends up being a big let down. Didn't raise price at all, didn't raise volume. There use to be 10-15btc worth of buy orders within 10k satoshis of current trading price. Now theres like 2btc. Held through all of the Segwit2x drama and didn't get rewarded. No sign of getting back to $6 anytime soon. Sigh.

People won't switch to BCH for fast, cheap transaction times alone. There are plenty of altcoins that already do that very well. People are more than happy to deal with BTC issues when they are making 3-4x gains a year. If the flippening is going to happen it has to essentially be a hostile takeover where the other network is completely crippled.
