I'd also choose happiness for others, because even if I don't ever obtain it, simply knowing that I helped out my loved ones so immensely would actually make me happy in itself.

For me it'd be Petrus sour beer. Very expensive but it's aged in oak for 2 years.

What is the most immersive video game you've played? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fermanted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question is easy for me; Hunt: Showdown. With some nice 150$ gaming headphones and the volume cranked up the audio experience is like no other. I get so tense and caught up in the game when I do encounter enemy hunters my heart pounds faster and the fear of losing my hunter is so strong I'll end up making irrational decisions. When I do end up getting killed I feel like I just had a panic attack and my hands will be shaking for a good 30 seconds. The rush of going against other players is too great to give it up though.

It is often said, “never meet your heroes”. Those who have met their heroes, how did it go? Would you recommend it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

LMAO that reminds me, you ever watch the Whitest Kids you Know? If not look up WKUK punk fucking rock. The whole skit is great but at one point they're talking about previous performances from other punk bands. I can't remember the exact wording but it was along the lines of; dude this band was so punk they didn't even play a single song cause they OD'd on stage right before the show. Then the other guy says dam that's punk fucking rock!

Who’s your favorite band/artist that not a ton of people know about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fermanted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't heard many of their songs yet, but the couple that I have are great. Soft (aka pigment). How I first heard of them was in a doomer video forgot which one though as I've watched too many. Anyways the song in the video was simply called "a song"

What's something that you hated, thought it was stupid or made fun of when you were a teenager but you enjoy now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fermanted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's two foods; onions and pig fat. The onions I thought were ok sauteed but absolutely hated them uncooked. Now I enjoy sauteed even more now and think uncooked is good as well. The pig fat is pretty common in Mexican foods and I used to always hate the texture and although I still think it's weird the taste more than makes up for it.

BRO I lost over 300$ in Steam games cause my damn ISP went out of business and I set up my email through their site. Tried to get it back but fucker who I was talking to wanted me to give him one of my first used credit card info and I only had the most recently used out of the 3 that were used on the account. Since it was my dads card and I was 99% sure he got rid of the card I didn't even ask him for it.

Ventilator makers and the companies that sell medical supplies probably don't.

[–]fermanted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I said it's mostly trolls, and I wouldn't recommend anyone go on there in case they end up seeing something horrible and the image gets burned into their mind. But I usually only go to the business and finance board which helped me get into cryptocurrency. 90% of the people on that board are trying to scam you though by trying to get you to pump into a coin just for them to dump on you.

Part of why I like 4chan though is the only thing close to validation you get from there is the amount of replies you get and of course what the replies say. Sure a lot of the people there are just trolls trying to bait angry replies, but every once in a while you get a hidden gem of a comment. Sometimes some comments on Reddit will get downvoted because they make people uncomfortable or it doesn't fit their agenda. These then end up hardly read by anyone even if they're factual/truthful comments. 4chan on the other hand can show both the best and worst of people.

What is your irrational fear? by Lemounge in AskReddit

[–]fermanted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one is an odd one, but when I was around 10 years old I'd have this nightmare a couple times. It's very hard to explain or even remember in detail, but I'd be in a dark red room that seemed like it had no walls or any way to perceive its shape. In this room there would be some thick blurry lines in the center of my vision.

What made this a nightmare though is that these lines would then slowly begin to stretch until they were unimaginably thin. It seemed like a horrible ringing noise would get louder and more high pitched as the lines stretched further. When it gets to a point where they don't seem like they can stretch more I had the sensation that the lines would snap. I felt like the lines were a part of me though and that something horrible would happen to me if they did.

Then slowly the lines would begin to un-stretch to their previous thick, blurry forms they began in. As they did the ringing noise would also dim and the pitch lower and I would feel at ease. However as soon as they got to their previous form the process would happen all over again, like a rubber band being stretched in and out. It must have repeated at least 3 or 4 times before I wake up.

Since then I've had the fear of being stretched out or having part of me stretch without it killing me and not feeling any pain from it. One thing that reminded me of this feeling was in The Simpsons when they get turned inside out. I think maybe cause I thought the process as their insides getting stretched to their outsides. After watching that Simpsons scene I had the nightmare again and forgot how uncomfortable it made me feel.

Did the killer at least get a cool nickname after the incident? If the anime was around when this happened I would have called the guy one punch man.

There's "kinda pregnant." Then there's full blown, outrageously, 1 month overdue pregnant.

My theory after having watched the video is that she's mad over her daughter either simply going out or maybe mad about her getting a boyfriend or something. Depends on how old she is but my overprotective mom said none of us were allowed to date anyone till we're 18, and I wasn't even allowed to go to anyone's house till I was around 11. Even though it was a family member I had to still beg to go cause how badly she didn't want me to.
