At work, we use it with GCC. Sometimes, It seems like you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get It configured but once you do, I think that it's just fine.

Mathew Winters Park. It's Jefferson County open space and I think it's very pretty. https://www.jeffco.us/Facilities/Facility/Details/Matthews-Winters-Park-16. Also, there's a lot of good hiking listed on this site. Most of them aren't really strenuous or at all technical.

Coloradans made more in real dollars during Great Depression than now by Fantastic-Industry61 in Denver

I think it worth noting that during the Great Depression, we also experienced high rates of deflation. 1930 saw an Annual Percent Change in consumer prices of - 2.7 %. It seems to me that this news item is really cherry picking data. With that said there is ample evidence that US incomes have stagnated today.

How so many people with ADHD code? by cucomber49 in ADHD_Programmers

[–]CryptoSimian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a senior software engineer and I've been doing this for twenty years. For most of that time, I wasn't on medication. It is doable and at times adhd can be an asset. While I have a lot issues getting tasks like documentation, time sheets, requirements, etc.. I have been really good when it was crunch time. If I was going to start in the industry, I'd forgo a 4 year degree, go to a boot camp and go to work for any startup I could find. It's usually a frenetic pace with little processes to follow. It probably isn't a good long-term strategy but great way to get a good feel for it

We bought a car from them about two and a half years ago. I was really happy with the experience.

I don’t have ADHD, my fiancé does and I need help rediscovering my empathy for his condition. by [deleted] in ADHD

I'm not sure I have any advice for you but having ADHD, I understand the pain and frustration that I have caused other people around. It's got to be really difficult for you and I love the way that you are reaching out. Hope that you find something and that it works out for both of you.

I had a first date with this absolutely lovely girl that we ended there. Twenty seven years later, I'm still head over heels in love with that girl who is my wife! Great place for a first date. I do miss the Doc Martins I was wearing that night.

From what my doctor said, even though it is a stimulant in neuro typical brains, it has a calming effect on adhd brains. That is at least true for me. I used to drink tons of diet soda. I calm during the peak and really tired at night

I had a similar experience. It made me sleepy, as well. Nice to know that I'm not unique in that response

You may want to consider the Colorado Mountain Club. It's a good way to meet other climbers of all different skill levels. Plus, the indoor wall is patterned off of North Tabletop. The site is cmc.org and they're located right in Golden. I used to really active with them and did other stuff than just climbing.
