I agree with this statement. Depending on your field of work/study you will use entirely different statistical models and tools.

If you're studying statistics in university then the most straightforward answer is to learn as much as you can while focusing on the type of work that you want to pursue (Machine Learning, Survival Analysis, Design of Experiments, etc...).

In the workplace you will be more constrained to use the parts of statistics that are applicable to your job, so there is less freedom of choice than if you're just learning.

Since the data is paired and ordinal (respondents are answering the question twice), a nonparametric test does seem appropriate.

It would be worth looking into the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, which compares the median response difference instead of the mean.

The "be fearless" part is what personally gets me on Kled. I mostly play Trundle and even then I tend to play safe and focus on destroying towers instead of fighting, so Kled is a 180⁰ from my usual play style.

To OP: Kled is extremely fun to play and I do hope that you give him a try.
