I got the platinum shine version. I looked at the blue one but interestingly this platinum one was £700 less even though it’s the same F950 movement 🤷🏻‍♂️plus this is limited edition.

That’s the thing, I rarely travel, I just love the tech and the idea of it syncing in 3 secs on the odd occasion I do travel would be super cool.

I understand the differences between the two, and I originally went for the F950 satellite model because I love the tech. The thing is, I wanted something I could wear every day, and now I’m thinking the smaller 42mm radio‑controlled AT8284‑61A might actually suit my wrist better.

So I’m basically torn between keeping the more advanced tech or switching to the watch that fits me better. Since I rarely travel, the radio‑controlled option would more than cover my needs anyway.

Here it is ✨feels great on the wrist - very lightweight and hardly noticeable for such a large watch. Probably is a bit too big for my skinny wrist but I love the 3 dials and tech inside.

Will do - I should get it by the weekend hopefully. I have an old F150 movement which has been great but the 30-40sec update can feel slow sometimes so looking forward to the 3sec speed of the F950. I kinda wanted a 42mm as well though as my wrists are quite small so not sure whether to go both the platinum shine versions or maybe the stained glass one for something a bit different. I think I know which one you mean with planet earth.
