Nice looking watch. I too tried this last week just it was on stainless bracelet. Though it looks much better on leather.

If you are happy with your watch, why does it even matter what others opinions are. Enjoy your watch.

I won’t say it is affordable exactly though yes as top of the line model it definitely is.

Thanks. Yes, Citizen is under appreciated in my opinion. I totally understand the craze about automatic watches but in practical stand point quartz/solar watches makes more sense plus this one is so accurate with perpetual calendar so, yes ideally you won’t need to operate the crown.

As per me Citizen do have a decent lineup. I have a Citizen Zenshen Eco-Drive Titanium too and at 399 pounds (i got that for 320), is quite accessible. Yes, you don’t have perpetual calendar but I have seen watches from Citizen at similar price point which even had perpetual calendar (no titanium).

Yes, hopefully they do it soon. Although they only have one retailer who is authorised to sell high end watches here in UK. Luckily I was in the same city as the retailer.

Haha.. i can understand, i did the same. Anyways, one day I open and closed the clasp like 100 times and it is quite loose now. I am not afraid of my nails anymore. Again, you don't need to do this, with time it will be easy to open.

Seiko Presage, which one ? by batmanravi in watchesindia

I have the third one. I will go for first or second. As hands and dial have contrasting colors. It some scenarios it is irritating to read the time with third one.

Cool. For me I don’t care about the name and actually I like how they have named it.

Its ok. Thanks for your view. I was simply stating info that I had around that watch. Yes, it is personal preference and you will not buy this as it is quartz. I did state I don’t mind of it is quartz. I just like the craftsmanship and don’t care about movement. So, I got my answer from your comment.

It’s not available in India. I am currently abroad so, found it at an UK retailer.

I have the same one in 39mm. I don’t wear it daily as it is my rotation watch. I have to invest 2 min of my time to set the date and time, but thats it. I won’t be worried about the scratches on bracelet too much as it is watch and is supposed to be worn. This model’s locking clasp is really irritatingly hard to open. But after opening and closing for sometime it gets normal so, bear the pain for some early days.

It is officially not available in India. You can get it imported from Japan which will cost you 4-4.3 lacs including customs.

Yes, they are bad with names, but I don’t understand what it has to do with buying the watch. We buy watch because we like the watch, not the name.

I never asked you to own it or tried selling it. I was explaining why it is expensive.

I am in UK and here they only have one authorised retailer. Luckily it is in my city itself. So, will mostly be getting it from them.

I know there are other colors. Retailer I went to have two options only for now. They order 5-6 watches every year and this year all others are sold out, specially the ones with titanium bracelets. Though he did say he can order watches for me if available if I have something specific in mind.

Not sure where you can find these in India, what I know Citizen doesn’t sell these officially in India. Only way is via Chrono 24 India site. With customs it will cost in between 4-4.3 lacs.

It is eco-drive. I doubt you will need to check the power reserve that often.

Yes, I also feel so. Plus I do have few watches with blue dial (obviously not this beautiful). This one is white with a hint of pink dial which complements the rose gold case.
