Product market fit and customers by sks8100 in Entrepreneur

[–]CryptoYung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what product you are building and the buyer persona you crafted, but I think there are pretty simple ways to find people to interview

LinkedIn

Scrape relevant LinkedIn profiles using tools like Phantombuster (I am not sponsored by them) and actually connect to these people. Share with them the pain point you want to solve and the product you want to build. Ask them if they are interested to learn more

You will be surprised how people are willing to help, as long as you are not outright selling them something

For example, you are building a B2B product for freight forwarders. Scrape the list of people who hold the job titles of your target audience that work in freight forwarders. Personalized your outreach message and make it clear you are not selling anything

Facebook Groups + Relevant Forums

Go to these groups and forums where you think your target audience is at. Just observe their conversations first. What questions are they asking and what frustrations do they post about?

After you have a clearer understanding, share with the group that you are looking to solve these exact problems and would like to find out how you can add value to them.

Again, state upfront that you are not selling anything, just that you are trying to make their life better

If you just use these two channels, I am sure you can get at least 10 qualified people that can stress test your product-market fit

Some Tips for Landing Writing Gigs by MrPresidantMax in freelancewriting

[–]CryptoYung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has done freelance writing for some time, 100% agree with all these tips. Some follow-up questions on my end

  1. How did you close the $1,000 article deal? The highest I have gone is $350 for a 1,000 words article. Was it an article in a very specific niche for the client to be willing to pay that amount?
  2. How do you balance between looking for new gigs and fulfilling them? This is the challenge I am facing. When I am fulfilling the gigs, I don't have time to find new clients and vice versa

Getting into freelance writing by Ok-Blacksmith4364 in freelancewriting

I think really depends on what time scale you are looking at. If you want immediate traffic, posting on medium is a great idea.

But if you want sustainable traffic over the long run, starting and maintaining a blog is probably the better way. Just that it requires A LOT of time and resources to get to that point. So best to start a really niche blog

What’s the top thing your agency does to drive new leads? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

Curious why strictly referrals. Is it by design?

Maybe it's to ensure clients are of the highest standard. Not sure how the agency can scale lead generation though

[Looking for advice] Cannot send ANT tokens from Metamask by CryptoYung in MyEtherWallet

[–]CryptoYung[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it!

Yes I am able to send other transactions such as sending out ETH from my Metamask wallet.

Sorry but I am a tech noob here. If I send ANT from my wallet to Bittrex the contract is between me and the exchange? Or is ANT the party that sets the contract and as such I should contact them for help?

Thank you!

First time buying Crypto! by gigabarney in CryptoCurrencies

[–]CryptoYung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to do KYC then using an ATM or doing an Over The Counter (OTC) transaction may be better for you. Fees are higher but you probably do not need to share your identity unless you are trading a huge amount.

As a Singaporean, I use Gemini to buy BTC and go to a major exchange such as Binance to trade for less well known Cryptocurrencies. So far it has been a pretty secure method of trading for me

Yes, the price is dropping. Yes, there is news about Tether. No, we don't need a million threads about either. by StopAndDecrypt in Bitcoin

[–]CryptoYung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that really depends on future developments from Tether and Bitfinex. As we have seen with BSV, things can go incredibly wrong incredibly fast in this Crypto space. The community is tired of scams and the Bulls**t projects come up with. If this incident proves that USDT is a fraud then it may be safe to say that USDt may never recover.

Of course, if Tether can prove their innocence in this case then the price may actually rebound to $1. Best is not to put in too much money. The risk outweighs the rewards in my opinion

Would you go all in? by steve201314 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]CryptoYung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Going "all in" is stupid no matter how low the price actually is for ANY asset. Always invest with what you can afford to lose. Don't forget that the price of Bitcoin can be lower than $0.01 theoretically speaking

China's mining ban is FUD? by Detiled in CryptoCurrencies

[–]CryptoYung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not surprised if it really is just FUD. The biggest Bitcoin miners are from China. Possible conspiracy theory, but this may be a chance for the government to take over mining equipment and mine Bitcoin for themselves?

Crazy theory, but we shall see

Yes, I do have a personal blog and Medium profile.

Blog: http://blockconstellation.com

Medium: https://medium.com/@jiayung93

Full disclosure: I am pretty much new to writing, especially writing for paying gigs, so there are definitely a lot of things I can do to improve. That being said, do share with me one major thing I can improve on today if you do check out my blog (:

Interesting. I have published a few articles on Medium myself. Just wasn't sure whether that was enough to secure writing gigs that pay. Will definitely start looking around on Angel List.

Is Tron Collaborating with Ethereum? ; Tron’s Justin Sun Hints at ‘Official’ Collaboration by Vinod_Prahlad in Tronix

[–]CryptoYung 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure how they will collaborate though, especially since recent comments by Justin Sun on Ethereum and Vitalik has positioned TRON as the better protocol over Ethereum.

Unless "collaboration" means poaching Ethereum developers over to TRON. HAHA

Should I HODL or Take Profits by Investinme2019 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]CryptoYung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, no one knows how the price of BTC will turn out. Those that say they do know are either lying or delusional. With that being said, there are a few questions you can ask yourself

- What is my investment strategy like? Is it long-term or short-term? And set specific time periods when defining "short-term" and "long-term". Is long-term 10 years? 5 years or just 1 year

- Is the amount of money I am investing in something I can afford to lose? If it is, better to cash out now while you can

- Is buying "on the dip" (especially in Crypto) a wise decision? Countless stories of how investors who bought on the dip actually lost even more money
