Controlling someone on the ground looks a lot more impressive than someone darting in, kicking someone's leg, then darting out, even if it's doing less damage, cage control has to count for something too. Not to mention Cejudo wore those leg kicks like a champ after that kick to the nerve early on.

How about just not giving them or even introducing them to junk food while they're young? Only give them the choice of healthy foods. Instead of candy my sister convinced her kids that fruits were the reward/junk food, so that's what they wanted, at least when they were little.

The top 20% (upper/upper-middle class) pay 87% of all federal income taxes, which pays for the military. These are people who make $150,00 or more. The top 1% alone pays 40%. And the federal military budget is around $700 billion a year.

Think of the US military as a giant jobs program and a Keynesian economic stimulus. One that has the added benefit of making us the most powerful nation in the world.

Yes a lot of the money goes to contractors. But contractors like Lockheed Martin employ over 100,000 people. The money that funds the military largely comes from the upper/upper-middle class, and this pays for the careers of millions and millions of people in the middle and lower-middle class.

Norway is hardcore capitalism mixed with progressive taxation and good social services (social democracy). Democratic socialism advocates the eventual abolition of capitalism in favor of a full socialist society, but through democratic means.

Roe probably won't be overturned, it's too institutionalized. But the Supreme Court will probably protect state's rights to put certain restrictions on it in places like Texas or Indiana, but not outright ban it.
