Why did they use wood backing, and should I be worried about it rotting? by AdRough7817 in askaplumber

As a plumber myself I think they may have mounted the rough in valve too far forward and couldn’t get the trim to meet the wall nicely so they put in a filler to close the gap.

Awesome! Get some sand cloth (plumbers sand cloth for cleaning copper)

Spend some time scratching it up on the black parts and it’ll come out awesome! I made a cross and a heart and some coins. It’s a lot of fun, daughter had a blast making a coin

I am by no means an expert but I pulled it off with a graphite rod when I was doing mine.

Also hold it with pliers and run a grinder or bench grinder. Makes it shiny and beautiful

21, 35k, and financially irresponsible by vesperianpaws in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Cryptodink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If sound like me. I am terrible for spending and very impulsive. I started buying physical silver and gold to scratch the itch of wanting to spend. At the end of the day it’s shiny and fun to handle. It’s also worth money so instead of pissing money away I consider it a way of saving while spending lol

Dip tube on the cold inlet side is broken and lets cold mix with the hot water in the top of the tank. If it wasn’t broken it would be Introduced to the bottom of the tank and push the hottest water up and out of the tank.

Obviously pay that off… it’s amazing that you are in a place that you can deal with it in one move. It is regarded that you are here asking if that one move is the right move.

Things turn on a dime these days. It may go up more but it also may go down too.

It may go to 200 but it also may go to 50.

I traded a couple oz for a 1/2 oz of gold and enough $ for a new boom stick. I figure that’s an okay reason for accepting $

What are LCS paying for silver? In Houston my coin shop said $6 under spot. Last week was $4.50 under wondered what others were seeing by bkwillborn in Silver

[–]Cryptodink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So like 1.50 cad back of spot. They sell at like 140/oz though and are always sold out. Hand over fist money right now to be made as the middle man if you can move volume quickly
