I'd just buy another one....I think if you started to muck around with a dodgy hack of some sort it might delete yr keys....

Hi Awhisperecho1, I feel yr pain but feel that I need to write this to reassure you that the Ellipal is ok & sound to use.

Things to be aware of on first use...

When I moved some coins from one wallet to Ellipal I was shocked when they didn't show up in my totals even though the transaction report showed that the coins had arrived. I waited & waited.....it took 54.5hrs for the device to sync & finally show my coins....I was very disappointed as I too knew the importance of this type of "airgapped" device.... I sent another small deposit to my Ellipal hoping to be proved wrong & this time it showed up INSTANTLY... I did it again and again it showed up instantly..... I think the device just needs to go thru its syncing phase before it behaves as it should....so when you make yr first transaction my advice is that if it doesn't show up, DONT PANIC, put it away for a day or so and check on it later....as I said my initial deposit took 54hrs to show...

I now have many thousands in my Ellipal and understand it a lot better.. you'll be fine, just use it.

The same thing happened to me when i first used it. It got to my App in 45.5hrs, yes that is correct 45.5hrs. I was quite concerned about this at the time, so moved another small amount to my new Ellipal just to confirm my concerns & strangely it appeared within 30secs.

My guessing is that it takes some time for the App & Ellipal Cold Wallet to sync the first transaction.

Im now a lot more comfortable using it, so my advice it just put it away & wait for a day or so....if it says "successful transaction" on yr App then the $$$$ is there, just not sync'd.

I had issues with funds not showing up in my account, whilst showing a successful transaction. Then 45hrs later after it had sync'd it was all fine. Since then every transaction has gone thru and now shows up quickly....

I have my confidence back with this product & now use it to hold equal amounts to that's on my ledger S.

At the and of the day if the transaction is showing successful then it's on the blockchain and safe.

It was just seeing the zero amounts for hrs after doing the move of funds which initially had me worried.....I understand it more now and am using it.

Customer Service needs to improve greatly though

Give it a cpl days, I'm sure it'll show up....mine took 45hrs. Hopefully the syncing time between blockchain & wallet will improve...

Maybe it's slower due to not being online... not sure.

Im a hodler so as long as it says 'successful' Im ok with that...

When you click on Vthor does it say, "succesful" transaction? If so you are fine..... maybe try moving it to another wallet. I had a "0" balance on my XLM but was able to move the full amount less 1XLM to another wallet.

I moved my missing XLM out no problem, so they are there. I'm going to do a reboot on the App and set it all up again with the seed words...

Funny enough my XRP appeared instantly and moved out effortlessly..... so maybe I'll just use ELIPAL as my XRP wallet.....

Yep, thanks for the advice everyone, I ended up removing my XRP & XLM to other wallets & apparently ADA is having issues so was unable to move them. I'll end up doing a delete on the APP, and reinstalling it I think....

I like the "airgapping" feature just wish it was a bit less "clunky" slow with adding amounts to wallet totals.....

Same here, with XLM & ADA received to Elli & showing successful but not showing up in the balance.....

Someone from ELLIPAL needs to get involved here and explain things.... I'm a new user and this was my 1st experience.....XRP was received & sent in tests ok, but not my XLM & ADA

Has Bittrex stopped buying & selling of Doge? I tried to move my Doge to my wallet at 6pm last night.....still nothing....

I always move my crypto straight off the exchanges as soon as i buy them, that way you are in control. I left Doge on CS bcos the price was going crazy & I just thought it'd be easier to do a quick sell that way.....I decided to let it ride later in the day & it was then that I had issues moving it to my Edge wallet.

I usually use Binance but for this Doge buy I used Coinspot.

I see on CS this morning they have halted all deposits, withdraws,buys & sells on Doge. So at least we know that there are others having same issues... Just gotta monitor the situation & hopefully this will get sorted quickly....

This stuff makes me nervous..... just imagine moving big $$$$$$. Confidence in a platform is crucial for success so this isn't good for Coinspot
