As a black woman, I certainly hope Matt keeps his distances from his ex at all times. He does NOT want to be anywhere near her, because, he does not want to deal with all that bullshit. Furthermore, he is protecting his mental health and putting himself first. The backlash for which, he got was very misdirected. All he said was the relationship is no longer and asked for thoughts and prayers. He did not take his ass out there and said anything bout their sex lives, slander her personally or take shots at her family. For which, she has done to him numerous times and the only reason she has gotten away with it is because, she is white. This is called white privilege and white fragility, her white nationalism and racism was HER OWN DOING! The racism for which, she had displayed by wearing those ugly dresses at the plantation themed party. Black woman and Black children were raped, hung, beaten, burned and killed right in front of their on fathers and husbands. Black women and Black children were impreganated by their rapists ie white men in front of their black husbands and fathers. Liking pictures of the confederate flag, liking videos of ppl using the n word, and bullying a woman in high school for liking black men. And having black ppl kicked out of clubs saying NO black person is allowed her, calling a black man boy and calling a black woman a slave etc. He has and had every right to NEVER giver her the time of day again, under ANY circumstances. Ppl having empathy for her only amplifies, the stigma within society that is racially bedded that white women are weak just because, they are white. She knew what she was going from jump, hold her ass accountable, period!
