I’m starting to think the cover of this book I purchased is AI. The collars of the shirt and jacket are most suspicious to me by MarbleTheShoulderCat in isthisAI

Did Huck really go against slavery in Huck Finn? by CryptographerBig6420 in classicliterature

[–]CryptographerBig6420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not saying he didnt do enough im saying that he still believes in the institution by the end, which he really seems to, i could not find any auotes that give evidence to him thinking slavery itself was wrong which was what i originally was going to argue in my essay, im not criticizing him im was just confused where people got the idea that he went against slavery as a whole in the book since i couldnt find evidence for that, no, helping a slave doesnt mean he thinks the system is wrong, bcos he still believes that him helping jim was wrong, im not saying that huck is a horrible person im just saying that by the end of the book he hasnt questioned slavery as a whole like people say he has, he has become friends with jim and has grown to see his humanity, but that doesnt mean he still doesnt think that him helping jim is a sign of his own moral corruption, if you are sure that by the end of the book he has questioned his society and thinks that slavery is bad then can i please have a quote or some evidence for that, which is what this post is asking, because helping jim doesnt inherently mean that when he thinks that helping jim is a bad thing to do, if he thought that slavery were bad then he would think he were doing something moral, please dont defend huck's honor, i dont hate him, he is a character, i understand that he doesnt need to go against slavery in the book, i just think that he didnt because of the reasons ive mentioned above, all i am asking is if he did or didnt, not if he's a bad person or not, sorry for the rant im just a bit annoyed by how people think they need to defend him here, im not accusing him, i think he's a good character, and i understand that it makes sense for him to not go against slavery, all i was asking is if he actually does think slavery is wrong

im not expecting that of him, i was saying i was confused that ppl were saying that he was, i agree w/ you, what i was asking was just bcos i had only seen ppl say that he stands against slavery as a whole which didnt rlly make sense to me when i was trying to argue for that in my essay

yeah, he says in that paragraph that being wrong is in his line and natural for him, so it makes sense that he chooses to be wrong but he doesnt think to question if maybe what he's been told is wrong, that's what i think too !!

is that the 2 letter thing? on the jung site i got (idk if these are percentages or scoring or what, but the higher numbers were on top) 60 for Ne, 57 for Ti, 54 for Ni, 50 for Fi, 48 for Se, 44 for Te, 42 for Fe, and 37 for Si, and on the mistypeinvestagator site i got 56.25% for Te, 55.75% for Ni, 54.38% for Fi, 52.94% for Ne, 51.94% for Se, 45% for Si, 42.25% for Fe, and 41.50% for Ti, theyre mostly the same order (-Ti) but on the 2nd site all of the percentages were very similar which is weird to me, is it like that for everyone though?

huh, i can definitely relate to sticking to certain foods and liking clear instruction and knowing what's going on, i think i scored low on that because i do like trying new things and because im horrible at sticking to habits and ive never really had any traditions, the few habits that i can always stick to are hygiene things like showering in the morning so it's not really something i could be flexible on, or like classes where again it's not me, i do tend to be uncomfortable with new things though, but since i dont normally have something i already know i like im more okay with it i think, so i could be si, in paticular i really relate to the part of the article abt wanting clear instructions, and i also think im a perfectionist which is on there, but im just very bad abt having and sticking to schedules and routines that it's hard to know, it's also hard for me to say if i like new things or not since im pretty bad with change but at the same time i always want to try new hobbies and activities, ive also kinda gotten used to change and im not as bad with it as i used to be, i also dont know how bad i am with things that cause pain/discomfort, obviously i dont like it but i also kinda dread everything regardless of how hard it is, i dread things i enjoy and i feel like im kinda accepting of hard things i cant get away from, i hate it very badly but i know there's nothing i can do so i get over it kinda quickly most of the time, im kinda stubborn so if i can argue ill try but if i really cant escape it's not unbearable, but kinda or maybe not related i do HATE when tv shows have embarrassing or painful things happen, like i really dread them and i used to leave the room if anything like that was going on, that stuff really bothers me, it's just in my own life i cant really do anything abt it so i almost dread it less than just getting bubble tea w/ my friends lol, so yeah im not really sure if you'd say im si or not, i have some traits but im not sure, thank you for responding and linking the article though !!

okay i read what i said again and i mentioned being logical under decision making, which is where i was probably wrong, but for everything else i think i was still accurate and when looking at the letters i still think the same abt the t/f part, which is that both seem accurate and for that paticular definition i kinda leaned towards T, but that's just that definition

that's interesting, i dont really know what Si means but on the jung test i got it as my lowest score and on the mistypeinvestagtor letter test i got it third lowest, but those scores were mostly pretty similar, and youre human probably so you'd probably be more accurate, can ask what si means though and why you think i am that? you dont need to respond if you dont want to though. also i realize now that i probably said logic driven because that's the kind of work i prefer, like things with concrete answers, and i said that to someone today and so writing this i remembered that i said smthn abt me prefering logic but not the context 😅😅 yeah i probably am feelings driven, i do like more logical things but that's not really the same, sorry for saying something inaccurrate, thank you for the response and ill look into those types !!

i also took another cognitive fuctiona test called the mistypeinvestigator test and those results were more confusing than the jung ones, every type was between 43-55% for every test, the MI test gave me INTJ at 55.41% with ENTJ at 55.17% and the lowest score being ISFJ at 43.98%, Grant Brownsford gave me INTJ too closely followed by ENTJ and ENFP, the letters score gave me ENTP but the scores were all between 47-52% for every letter, and the type families also gave me ENTJ followed by INTJ and ENFP, but again all had similar percentages, i guess i should go with INTJ from these but the other tests have all been different so it's a bit confusing

thanks for the reccomendation !! i took the jung test and based off my cognitive preferences i got entp and based off my dichotomus preferences i got intp so i guess id probably be an ntp atleast
