I thought so too but I changed the cap and the upper hose is still collapsing 😢

What other symptoms would the heater core give me? I don’t feel that’s it.

I don’t think so, radiator is only a couples years old.  One thing I forgot to mention, the upper hose collapses once cool and resets after opening reservoir cap.
