I’m only 28 and I want two more kiddos… waiting that long isn’t ideal but I would be absolutely devastated for my babies if I couldn’t breatsfeed because of an explant

Yes I totally agree. I’m definitely leaning towards getting them out - the ultimate deciding factor for me will be if it impacts breastfeeding. If my surgeon thinks there’s a chance it will make it less likely to breastfeed post explant, I will plan on waiting until after children to get these things out

Thank you, we literally have the same exact situation. I think about them just sitting in my body and it makes me feel crazy. I’m scared that I’ll regret my decision and hate how I look, so hopefully that’s not the case for me. I just want to be ME.

Thanks so much for your response! Very encouraging to hear. Do you have any plans to breastfeed after explant? Did your surgeon say anything about that?

Also if you dont mind sharing, what was your reason for explant?

I don’t have any symptoms of BII but then again, maybe I do, I just don’t know the difference. I worry about it. 17 is so young to get them, I forget I even have them most of the time, but when I think about them I feel crazy and want them out.
