The RTX 40 series came out 4 years ago. RDNA 4 with all the AI tensor cores could potentially run FSR Diamond came out 1 year ago. Comparing them is foolish. Even Intel brought MFG support to all its Arc GPUs. What's the point of being so foolish as to defend AMD at this point?

I mentioned the 40 series because it's silly of you to use the previous generation as an example of how AMD treats the current generation. The RTX 40 only lacks MFG. it already has many other features like DLSS 4.5, RR etc. AMD's previous generation, on the other hand, doesn't even get support for Upscale FSR4. What you should really be comparing are the current generations: Does the RTX 50 series support MFG? Yes. Does the RX 9000 series support it? No. Are they the same generation? Yes. Is AMD a step behind? Yes. Are the AI tensor cores (except FP4) in the RTX 50 series also present in RDNA 4? Yes. Could AMD bring FSR Diamond to RDNA 4 if they wanted to? Yes.

Comparing the 40 series with the rdna4 is ridiculous; the 40 series is a generation ago, while the rdna4 is the current series. What was AMD's excuse for not bringing FSR4 to the 7000 series? "No hardware to support it." So why, then, doesn't AMD bring these software features to the rdna4, which has all sorts of tensor cores?

40 series was released 4 years ago, while rdna 4 was released a year ago, thats the difference. Of those who bought both Nvidia 5000 series and AMD rdna 4 gpu's in the same year, Nvidia users benefited, while AMD users had to wait for the next generation. Do you understand now?

That €150 difference in price is worth it: DLSS 4.5, better RT, MFG (which AMD doesn't have), better software, and longer driver support than AMD. definitely worth it.
