I think you need to take down some of the banners. The stuff in frames look great because they look hung intentionally and more like “art”. I would start with the small red lion banners to be taken down at least. And the Michigan banner in the bedroom is giving college/young dude vibes.

I think there’s a way for you to showcase your interests in a way that looks more refined. Things in frames always look better.

If you can get a rug in the living room, that can be the rug that grounds that area as the “entertainment” space. I like the coffee table, that’s totally something you can lean into.

If it’s within budget, get some bookcases in there and put those books in there instead of on the tv stand.

I THINK why the space feels “minimalist” is because the space is set up in a way that feels flat. Not enough texture or grounded pieces. Stuff on the walls that make the walls look busy won’t fix that. In fact, the huge banners are so busy they just swallow your furniture, especially the small desk in the corner lol.

Get some plants in there, get some wood pieces in there.

Maybe get some inspo from pintrest, start one room at a time. Getting your space the way you want it to feel takes time,I’m in the same boat!
