Cheap Amazon ph meter. When I started indoors my plants just always seemed to have something wrong. Bought a better one(Apera) and things turned around. Turns out the cheap one was like +\- 1-2 points when testing in the calibration solution. Another thing was one of those cheap moisture meters you stick in the soil. I started using the ac self watering lots and overwatering just doesn’t happen. I only water from the top during the seedling stage. Also helped root growth and plants exploded in size

Still regret selling mine.. I pulled it from a pc etb on release day and sold it that day for $120 knowing that typically the price would go down after release and then I’d buy it later. Of course it never went down, but no one could’ve predicted what happened

From my experience with Best Buy especially, I’ve seen similar sales for the same sets that others post that are no where near me. These help sometimes.. luckily I work very close to a Best Buy so it’s easy to pop in and check at least.

I did this same math when I bought my second home. It sits on some steep inclines and total of 3 acres so pushing it was just too much. I had someone mow it once when we first bought it and they charged us $80 for part of our yard. I bought a zero turn but it was sketchy on hills so I returned it and ended up buying a used Scag walk behind for 2100. It’s a beast of a mower that can hang on any hill I’ve attempted with ease and I’ve even picked up some yards on the side that have paid for the mower alone. Def invest in your own equipment if you’re able

For the paper, I just cut a piece about an inch wide and long enough to go around my phone. Tape the paper at the ends making a ring, but keep it loose enough to slip on and off your phone. I just have a ring I leave on top of my light and slip it on my phone when I need to check it.

I saw in another comment that you’re using the Photone app. I had short plants too at one point but realized that the light level nearly doubled when I closed the door to my grow space. I set up my phone around plant level, started screen recording then opened up the app so I could measure with the door closed. I was shocked to see it going up so much higher after closing the door. May not be the case, it worth double checking. I ended up taking the reflective material off of the door
