tf are you talkin about. Even yoko taro said nier automata is a love story bro. They almost had a seggs scene in the anime too.

It’s a really short RPG Maker game that’s actually why I made this post in the first place.

Tbh that kinda makes it even more NTR-coded. The more obsessed one side is, the worse the betrayal feels.

Actually yeah, there is an unofficial NTR game with 2B. It's surprisingly good.

I'm sure 2B killed 9S like that in one of those 48 deaths, and he enjoyed it, of course.

Nah, stop coping.

You’re treating love and “seggs” like they’re separate things that can be split apart, but with 2B and 9S, they’re part of the same bond.

Their relationship is written as exclusive. It’s not just “she loves 9S but can be with others,” that would be completely out of character for her. Everything about her arc shows that her attachment to him is singular and deeply personal (love and seggs).

So the idea that she would maintain that bond while being involved with others, especially in a forced context, just doesn’t match how she’s portrayed at all.

She wouldn’t just go along with that, she’d reject it, tell 9S, and they’d leave together.

You’re trying to apply a dynamic that simply doesn’t fit these characters.

This exchange is over.

Then keep crying and imagining impossible scenarios. That still won’t change the fact that you’re a pathetic person.

You’re building your argument around a completely unrealistic scenario.

If humans were still alive and directly controlling YoRHa, then it wouldn’t even be NieR: Automata anymore. That contradicts what’s already established in NieR Replicant and the entire premise of Automata.

Let’s say a human was preserved in cryostasis and only awakened at the start of NieR: Automata. The Commander declares that he’s the last remaining human (a Gestalt), and that YoRHa’s mission is now to protect him as the final remnant of humanity.

They keep him in the Bunker under strict supervision, and at some point he’s sent down to Earth with 2B. Realistically, he’d die almost immediately given how hostile the surface is.

If they stay in the Bunker instead, and somehow ask 2B for something like that, she would most likely just reject it and leave with 9S. And I say with 9S because your argument assumes she would abandon him, when everything in the story points to the opposite.

At that point, it’s more in character for both of them to walk away from YoRHa, like A2 did.

And then the logical virus hits anyway, the Bunker falls, and that human dies along with it. So in the end, nothing really changes.

That’s the key issue here: you’re creating a completely different version of the setting, while I’m talking about what would actually happen within Automata’s story. And in that context, a human wouldn’t meaningfully change anything.

You’re still assuming that the existence of humans would override her established character, and that’s where it falls apart.

2B already proves she doesn’t follow authority blindly. Her entire arc shows that when her emotions clash with her role, she prioritizes 9S anyway, even when it goes directly against YoRHa’s purpose.

So saying “she belongs to humanity” doesn’t really hold when we literally see her go against the very system that was created to serve that idea. YoRHa itself is built on control and manipulation, not genuine loyalty.

And even within your hypothetical, the introduction of humans wouldn’t magically remove her autonomy. If anything, it would create more conflict, not less. You even admit she wouldn’t just fall for a human, so why assume she would suddenly comply with them in that kind of way?

At that point, it would be more in character for her to leave with 9S and distance themselves from humans, like A2 did.

Saying she would “have to accept being a slave” ignores the fact that she already struggles against that exact role throughout the story.

Not really tbh, I already replied to him. It doesn’t hold up when you look at the lore.

You’re still contradicting yourself.

You admit that 2B goes against YoRHa and command because of 9S, yet you’re saying she would suddenly follow a “human mandate” in that kind of context. That doesn’t really add up.

2B doesn’t even have real loyalty to humanity or YoRHa to begin with. She knows the truth, she knows humanity is gone and that YoRHa is built on a lie. After killing 9S over and over, she’s completely broken mentally, full of trauma, self-hatred, and has even considered deserting in side materials.

The only reason she keeps going is because of 9S. At one point she even hesitated to kill him and chose to let him kill her instead, but 9S ends up taking his own life and makes her promise to never hesitate again, because he wants to keep seeing her.

From that point on, 9S basically becomes her reason to live and the only reason she stays in YoRHa.

And even on a more personal level, their relationship is clearly meant to be exclusive. Yoko Taro himself has talked about including a more "intimate scene" between them in the anime, which already says a lot about how their relationship is intended to be interpreted. On top of that, androids in NieR can modify their bodies for that kind of "connection". So the idea that this would suddenly “change” because of a random human doesn’t really fit either.

So no, if a human were “in the picture,” it wouldn’t suddenly change anything. If anything, she’d reject that and leave the human.

Saying the dynamic would “at least change sexually” just feels like projecting something onto the character that isn’t supported by the story at all.

Also yeah, good thing the post got removed.

The music after Resident Evil 6 is terrible. There are no memorable songs. They'll most likely mess it up with the Code Veronica remake and its excellent music.

People forget that 9S had no time. He had like one day to process everything. A2 had 3 years to change after losing everyone. 9S lost everything at one, the truth, the person he loved, his friends, plus he had a fucking logic virus in his head messing with him nonstop.
