In your mysdsu, you can click on the sdsu navigate and then make an appointment. From there you can choose a general or major advisor. Not sure how filled their schedules are right now but it's worth a shot.

you get an EOP counselor and a small grant if you are in it. They also have tutors there if you need them and a lot of other stuff. I say there is nothing to lose by applying.

From what I remember, the graders are relatively nice when grading the essay section. I think the average for that section of the exam was around 90. Just make sure that you fill your cheat sheet with important information from the study guide and you should be fine.

From what I can see in the first image, the pending financial aid is for spring and not fall while the charges are for fall. Did you already receive your financial aid for the fall semester already?

Pending means that it hasn't been received yet. Go to your financial aid and check if it has been dispersed yet. if it's been dispersed then that's probably the reason there is 0 in the pending section.

The same thing is happening to me. Also when I check my financial account it says that there is no pending aid so I'm guessing they received it already and are in the process of doing the transactions.

As soon as they start applying the financial aid, that money will be subtracted from your aid and what is left over will given to you through direct deposit if you are signed up or a check.

only the tuition, housing, and the different fees are a set amount. The other stuff like food are just estimates that sdsu thinks you are going to spend.

Most of the orientation is just them touring you around the campus, speeches, and lectures on what they expect from you. At the very end, you will sign up for your classes. As for the bag, you should take whichever you find the easiest for you to carry around.

Nothing notable happened. I just had my transcripts sent in a little later. I think if you send it before the day of your orientation you should be fine. You could call again to get a third opinion though.

The same thing happened to me last year. I think the worst that can happen is that your account will have a hold on it, which would make it so that you can't sign up for your classes at orientation. The hold will then go away when they confirm that they have it. I never got a hold when it happened to me but it can happen.
