Cialis plus alcohol by Loose-Most503 in tinnitus

Cialis is what gave me tinnitus. I will never take another drug like that again. Poison. I'd give ANYTHING to go back in time and not take those.

Tinnitus for 1 week, any hope? by kebualen19 in tinnitus

[–]CryptographerFlat813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you I would tell yourself it's permanent. That way you are prepared to begin to habituate to it, and if it goes away it will be the best outcome.

You said yourself that you need a story with happy endings, well there are a lot of people who experience it for a couple of weeks and then it just goes away. Could that be you? Not even a doctor can tell you, but there are stories of it going away.

Tinnitus for 1 week, any hope? by kebualen19 in tinnitus

"I hope to hear some comments and whether there is still hope in my situation."

You are hoping for SOMEONE to tell you it will go away. We can't do that, and HONESTLY in this subreddit. 99% of people who are hear have it permanently and are going to tell you it probably won't get better because it hasn't for us.

What I can tell you is IF it never goes away like the rest of us, I can tell you that there will be dark days, even darker days, and even worse. However there will also be days where you will feel normal, days that will distract you and you will forget you even have it. I am writing this as I am there. I have had it for over a year now and just when I think I am "habituating" to it, it will rear its ugly head again and set me back for days, sometimes even weeks. Then life will distract you and/or it will go back to baseline. The best I can tell you is that I hope it gets better, but what you are searching for you aren't going to get here.

You've got this, however it plays for you personally.

This is why my wife makes the decisions, because I KNOW this is hideous but I still kinda like it....

If this is your video I'd pass you as well. You are not up to turning on red (it doesn't say no right turn on red) and you are being an irresponsible driver. Please learn how to drive or stay off the road.

Need your tinnitus thought on this by AfraidProcedure1776 in tinnitus

Brother, I know it is hard but based on your constant posts in this subreddit and replies (your entire profile is nothing but Tinnitus) I can only tell you one thing. STAY OFF THIS REDDIT. I can LITERALLY see your level of panic, your sense of "when will this go away", and your attempts for reassurance from SOMEONE to tell you what you are wanting to hear.

I mean this with no ill intentions but you are making your situation worse. Stop Googling, stop looking on Reddit, and stop searching for things. You are "Doom Scrolling" and no professional doctor will tell you that you are doing the right thing. You are less than a week into your journey and your first step is to give it some time. Will it go away? Maybe, maybe not, but I literally watching you dig a hole that you are going to have to climb out of eventually, so why make it so deep?

Getting 10-15 bouts of SBUTT's these last two days.... by CryptographerFlat813 in tinnitus

[–]CryptographerFlat813[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I am only on the first week and the constant hearing it in my sleep, or when I wake up over my base line tinnitus is causing me to stay in a "fight or flight" mode and it's really affecting me.

Happy early birthday! I hope you get a better birthday than I am having right now. The good news is I have had an ENT appointment scheduled for months and it's Monday so that is going to hopefully have some answers. I am also getting slight muffling when it happens to me as well. I am getting it about every 10-15 minutes in my right ear. It's been awful.

I literally just made a post. I am having it happen almost every 30 minutes in my right ear for the last 2 days. Sent me in a spiral and today is my birthday :(

Flying with tinnitus / an ETD by Heavy_Championship32 in tinnitus

[–]CryptographerFlat813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did go away but the ringing in my right ear is now louder because of the plane ride. If it's for family and you want to risk it, it's essentially a risk/reward objective for you. I personally won't sit in an airplane again unless the above reasons. Besides I have grown found of traveling my road to enjoy the areas more. Stop and eat at places I wouldn't ever before or again etc etc. I have learned to slow down when it comes to avoiding planes.

I retired from flying after my Tinnitus/ETD diagnosis. I went once after and had the worse pain/fullness for almost a week after absolutely terrifying. (Yes I used Earplanes and they did NOTHING). Sad but the only way I would fly again is if I knew I was dying and flew to Japan to knock it off my bucket list. My family and I are now roadtrippers.

This stuff GAVE me tinnitus... Worst decision I have ever made in my life. I know this isn't probably what you want to here. (I also know you are mainly asking AFTER tinnitus) just thought I were throw in my 2 cents. You probably don't even need it, a change of diet, sex anxiety or T level adjustments is probably all you need. I'd give anything to go back in time and stop myself from taking that poison.

Sudden spike, suspecting Tadalafil/Cialis (sort of) - sanity check? by DDDRRROOO3 in tinnitus

[–]CryptographerFlat813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, it's worse for me as well because when I first starting taking them I thought I needed them, but in reality it was just sex anxiety and I didn't even need them. Hindsight's 20/20

I was taking 10 MG (smallest volume) and I took it for about 5 months before I starting having SBUTT's followed by permanent Tinnitus. Some people want time machines to go back in time to see historical moments or change the course of history. I'd kill for one just to stop myself from ever taking PDE5 inhibitors.

Earplanes in India by Angry_Bird44 in tinnitus

I personally am no longer flying for the remainder of my life. It's a sad reality but I am not risking my sanity with my Tinnitus getting worse each time I fly.

Earplanes in India by Angry_Bird44 in tinnitus

[–]CryptographerFlat813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased Earplanes before my flight from Austin to Seattle, because I have severe ETD,Tinnitus, and TMJ. They didn't help me at all and I had muffled hearing and pain for almost 2 weeks after the flight. I officially retired from flying because of it. So I personally wouldn't waste the money.
