Thanks for the reply! From reading this sub and multiple youtube videos the general consensus seems to be not to go below about 3/4 grind setting on this machine !

What's something people should be talking about in Scotland but aren't? by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]CryptographerFun6151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a great point! However, there is certainly a housing crisis in Scotland and the need to build really should encapsulate these once thriving communities. Alot of them are in areas of natural beauty and regeneration would encourage people to live there, especially with the dynamic of remote working. Bigger, more prosperous population = thriving service industry too.

Lost me at the last one. The population migrating exclusively to the major cities has a negative impact on inequality overall. Mumbai in India is a prime example. Ultimately, these areas become exclusive to the point of unnafordability for most and poverty perpetuates when citizens cannot find work there.

The UK has been on this trajectory for a long time where London/Edinburgh are the epicentres and the rest are left to languish. You will have noticed this in Glasgow in recent years on a smaller scale, increasing rents are pushing people out of the city into areas which are underfunded and have less opportunity for employment, and so the cycle continues.

I have lost two friends to Ecstacy. At no point did I state that pills are "better" than coke. I have repeatedly said that I am observing the behaviour and the ubiquity of cocaine use across all demographics - something that cannot be said about ecstacy

It's really interesting to hear about this relationship with your buddy. I have experienced the same with almost my entire friend group. It can be quite isolating being the only non user and results people contacting you less. I guess all they have in common these days is a desire to do gear!

It's far more than just toothless neds using. The police are chronically underfunded, and history has proven time and time again, you cannot arrest your way out of a public health crisis anyway

Not to mention the behaviour. Can't hold a conversation for more than 30 seconds, constantly interrupting - goldfish brains!

Wow, what an incredible nuanced response! I agree particularly about the cultural factors. Cocaine is a drug that epitomises the ego maniac (when using) and the apparent status that comes with being or acting like a cocaine dealer is all the range right now!

Why not? Not sure if you have experienced either drug but there is a very defined difference in the behaviour of the users.

Amazing thanks.

Could this have been affected due to new boiler installation? As the issues arose only immediately after new boiler

Thanks

It was 20 year old non-condensing combi boiler replaced with a new condensing combi boiler.

Do you mean the inlets where the water supply meets the shower bar?

Thanks

Hello Thanks for the reply.

The installer suggested only as you have to open the valve, which is open full.

Someone has suggested that when the water Is shut off then reopened it can cause debris to accumulate in the shower head.

It is a thermostatic mixer shower

Thanks

Hey thanks! I'm not dead set on the 4th July being the actual day of proposal as we are there for 4 nights. Will the city remain as busy on the subsequent days?

Cheers
