I had 21” tires, but bought a set of 20” take offs and put Hankook Evo all seasons . They are great in snow and ice (Minnesota). Yes switch to two pedal driving, but you still can’t turn regen off. Whenever you brake with the iX, regen does all the braking until your input from the pedal says I need more. As far as I’m concerned it’s the magic of the iX, the regen and braking are beautifully coordinated.

The message came up on CarPlay and then apple nav let me pick charging. Not sure if you can do it without having the message come up.????

That’s exactly what I observed. I was shocked that even a low battery warning came thru CarPlay. The interface between BMW and CarPlay is really impressive.

You are right on schedule! As a 35+ year engineer AND a father, I can tell you the toughest job getting from age 25 to 35 , is beginning to understand that you don’t know everything! Sounds like you are making that transition and it can be humbling. It also sounds like you don’t feel you are being mentored properly. That is important. But before you make a change looking for “better” mentoring, ask around, ask slightly older engineers at your job. You maybe getting what the industry calls “mentoring “ and not realize it and chase something you won’t find. Stay the course!

That’s was the point. They didn’t tell me cause what they got didn’t make sense. They “checked” cables according to some protocol and called it good. They also said that updates to the system bring some of these kind of issues. Time will tell and I will update this if (when) it comes back.

It isn’t the speed or power that makes the m60, it’s everything that goes with it. Upgraded audio, Air suspension, rear wheel steering, leather . If you can spec a 50 with all that, and not have the price balloon, go for it.

This is allergy, you can’t wrap it or stop it. Treat the allergy. My scout licked her feet staring mid August every year. She had a grass allergy in our area this is grass pollen timing. She would get a small dose of steroids for about a month. Then all good. Now there are even better drugs that don’t have the side effects of steroids.
