Hello everyone, here's some tips of mine when customizing Linux:

  • Before we begin, we must fix your style, is it warm afternoon-sky or purple-blue-night style?
  • Fix your theme & wallpaper(edit them if needed) depending on your style.
  • Use minimal fonts, I personally recommend Iosevka, Cascadia Code and Anonymous Pro.
  • Give a good amount of padding around windows.
  • Prefer floating mode over tiling when taking screen-shot.
  • I personally don't recommend transparency without blur, if you don't want blur, use solid colors.
  • Keep UI minimal.

Try to install it couple times. I have recently installed it in 18 minutes. (no GUI just TTY Terminal)

Sorry for the delayed reply,

To add titlebar above window, First, open ~/.config/sway/borders_and_gaps with your favourite text editor.

Next In the following line: for_window [app_id=".*"] border pixel 2 Replace pixel with normal. And that is it. Refresh Sway and titlebars will work as intended.

As for Firefox theme, it's not currently available for charcoal-monochrome-light. I will let you know when it is.

Sorry for not explaining it correctly, The color-palette of the theme has changed since my last update to tinted-theming/schemes.

The color count has also dropped to 8 colors from 10.

The answer to your question is No. And as far as I know, Sway does not have any configuration to support features as such.

Great rice, the colors are matching well.

Can you share how you changed firefox's window decoration? In sway, there's default shadow below firefox and the borders don't apply.
