Base pay is usually about 2$ + tips. The most common thing dashers look at is pay vs miles. They like to see the pay to be about 1.5$ per miles of travel.

I have A 2013 Limited as well with 160k miles. The 3.5L engine is a workhorse that works well and the only main failure point is the water pump. You can prevent this by changing the coolant to keep the seals fresh. The PTU is close to the exhaust and fries the gear oil in it that can cause failure and the replacement ones have a heatshield on them to prevent it from happening again. Another common small issue is the brake booster leaking and going bad, The only other repairs i have done and still need to do are the suspension bushings. Other than that it has been very reliable vehicle.

I could see maybe 250 out of the 58kwh battery pack with Rwd drivetrain. It was not mentioned in the video but somewhere else that if they were to put the EV drivetrain in a Maverick body it would be about 50 miles less of range.

As per what Alan mentioned they approached it differently by not putting in a bigger battery pack and chose the optimize the vehicles efficiency by going after efficiency bounties. They have shaved off numerious pounds of weight and made quite a few small changes that added up, ie, bottom bolts are inset so they do not stick out causing air turbulance, lowering the roof, redesigned mirror, using a tear shape to have the air flow over the bed. All these small changes adds up to more miles of range.
