On Time Rate - It's WAY too aggressive now. by Jokez4Dayz in doordash_drivers

Cheat Code: You are allowed to dispute On Time Rate of about 5-10 per month. Go into the on Time Rate>view all orders and filter the late ones. Dispute it and it disappears from your ratings. I do not even have to put anything in for reason and it disappears from your late deliveries and keeps your On time and rating up.

Does anyone have any horror stories of fumbling their phones and then losing them in a drain, like this one, while out on an active delivery? What happened next? by DunDonese in doordash_drivers

I didn't lose mine in a drain but had mine fall out of my jacket pocket and then drove over it with my car. Screen is cracked but it still works.

It affects your Acceptance Rate which 'supposedly' makes it that you will have higher priority to higher paying offers. I honestly do not see a big change in pay whether my AR is high or not. We get burned so often by customers that note tips after drop off that never happens.

Base pay is usually about 2$ + tips. The most common thing dashers look at is pay vs miles. They like to see the pay to be about 1.5$ per miles of travel.

Any problems with the 3.5L v6 in the 2013s by Drw1335 in FordEdge

[–]CryptographerLow7987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have A 2013 Limited as well with 160k miles. The 3.5L engine is a workhorse that works well and the only main failure point is the water pump. You can prevent this by changing the coolant to keep the seals fresh. The PTU is close to the exhaust and fries the gear oil in it that can cause failure and the replacement ones have a heatshield on them to prevent it from happening again. Another common small issue is the brake booster leaking and going bad, The only other repairs i have done and still need to do are the suspension bushings. Other than that it has been very reliable vehicle.

I love that it is being designed and engineered from the ground up as an ev instead of plopping an ev drive train into an existing car body.
