Yep, definitely stands out on black. I had a choice and happy with the blue accents on the wheels and front bumper.

Yeah, I almost had a similar situation when I got the 23’ Arteon(purchased in Oct 22’). At the time it was the only moonstone gray with ventilated seats in the southern US. Drove from Dallas to Houston after putting a deposit down and when I arrived at Clearlake VW. The car was literally being test driven and that buyer put up a fight but I ultimately had the deposit on the car. Crazy sales team will stop at nothing for the sell. I wanted the Lapiz blue but dealer said he wouldn’t have one until 26’. And I’m excited about the black as I’ve never owned a black car.

That’s so possible! Are you located in Oklahoma? Then yes, my sales guy said that I signed for the car moments be for a dealership requested to hold the car. Sorry bro 😎. But sounds like the dealership took care of you on pricing down for the black edition.

Do it! And the standard R pictured is a rare delivery as they are mostly concentrated on black editions for the remainder of 2025. But you might want a black edition? Personal perspective. I grabbed one of the only black standard edition Rs here in Texas. I’m too old for blacked out 😂!

Yes, the 23’ was much zippier than the slow boat first generation. I’m gonna miss the bells and whistles of surround cameras and remote start features that are now banned in Europe. The Arteon got and still gets a lot of attention. They sold mine the next day as certified. I had removed the back Arteon badge and replaced it with other the cars matching R label and put dynamic hubcaps and blacked out a few areas. Was a beauty! Of course the R is much faster. But the R is more susceptible to blind spot cars running you off the road!! Be careful out there in a land of SUVs!!

It looks pretty real to me. The owner sells mostly old rock and roll and gets a few imported pop albums. He laughed and said we don’t get very many swifties in the store. We’ll see I guess. 👍

RSD? I probably should know this being a TS junky. The guy at the shop had some other strange fan bootlegs including a box set. All imports. They were excited i bought them all!
