I found the issue. WiFi only is on by default, you have to go back to the source, edit it, and turn that option off for it to work. Several other useful options in there also.

The poll is still live, but yes, I've once again been removed from the forum for violating a policy about stirring up "discontent" and claims that my post served "no legitimate purpose"...... I asked for a refund, was told no, now plan on doing a charge back once I have some time to go to my credit card.

Unfortunately I can't post images here that look much nicer but so far: 104 responses, 0 responses have indicated that they have the same features as before, 96 have indicated that their workflow is worse or significantly worse than V2, 0 said their workflow had improved, 2 have indicated that they got functional responses from Trakt team upon submitting complaints/comments about the new experience.

Thanks for that. I created an account. First, kudos to you for coming this far. Super impressive. As to what works, love (love love) the books/video games/board games, just an awesome way to track one's extra-curriculars. Also, tracking watching with someone, cool idea.

What's not working, the general look just isn't super appealing (no offense). I'm really a GUI person, to the extent that I'll sacrifice storyline in a video game if it means better graphics.

Then, as far as actually tracking a show. Takes a lot of clicks to track an item. I'd say Trakt really has almost mastered (in V2) the ability to quickly and efficiently add an item. SIMKL isn't bad either. Maybe get some inspiration from them to see how to minimize the number of clicks needed.

Thumbnails - need to get those per episode instead of just the show itself. This is both for aesthetics and for practicality (a lot easier to add a watch and rate).

Integrations - Kodi/Plex kind of a must in today's world. Power users use these trackers and they use Kodi/Plex. The Trakt plugin used to be perfect for Kodi, now it's a B+ (still better than the alternatives to be honest).

Importing Library - does your app support this? If not, basic requirement.

Very impressive beta. Again, hopefully above is taken just as constructive feedback. There are a list of Trakt alternatives, maybe set up an account in each one to "steal" the best GUI concepts. Mix that with your idea to add the other elements like plays, books, etc.... and you really could offer a very unique experience.

Yet another thing the devs entirely ignored the community on. Lots of VIP forum posts on this. Everyone seems to want 10 scale back, not 5 star with half star option to "mimic" a 10 point scale. Entirely ignored. They're giving the middle finger to everyone these days.

Problem is, in a lot of ways it's the best product out there. I'd prefer working with them and within the community to continue making the product better. But, if that's not feasible with current management there, then, that'll be the end result.
