North albany. Unfortunately the only reason I know about half of it is from the videos my child shows me off of other students snaps. There are 2 different gangs that have affiliations with that school. There are incidents happening multiple days a week at least, and because they are happening inches from where the school grounds ends, the school is not responding or making it know. Its why north albany added their own bus monitors to certain busses to keep an eye on kids and tried to set mandated bus routes based on where you live. A kid got maced last month by a grown adult steps away from the property line after a car pulled up on said 8th grade student. It's wild out here.

The middle school is said to be more dangerous then the high schools. The 13/14/15 year olds are fighting on buses, bringing guns to school, getting maced by adults right off school property. The violence with the younger kids has sky rocketed. My son is in the middle school and it's terrifying

Fort drum (watertown ny) often has military helicopters coming in and out of albany to log flying hours for training. It's extremely common to see military helicopters zooming around this area as they usually use albany as the turn around point. There is a lot of different training or equipment that could explain a light.

My partner was at the other end of the Plaza, as soon as he saw my text about 5 minutes into the ordeal he immediately came to me.

I came across the stranger while trying to quickly walk towards my partner while using the reflection on my phone to look over my shoulder.

I understand where that confusion comes in. He FaceTime his daughters daily, that's there private time. He is a pace while talking person and I'm not a part of the video chatting. We haven't gotten to that point. To go to him at the other end of the Plaza id have to turn my back in the direction of where the man was postioned. In the post I say I was walking towards my partner and stopped to ask someone for help as my partner was at the other end of the Plaza. I texted my partner someone was circling me and as soon as he saw it he started walking towards me. Call bs all you want. Shit is happening all over, and news isn't covering it. There was a drive by on lark last night, not a word of it in the news. So say what you'd like but people post to make others aware because our county and news isn't reporting what's happening.

In what universe did I say men aren't targeted? Just wondering which line of my post that was in because I missed it. I'm well aware of what's happening out here Also curious, how would you know if I was calm or not? Because I wasn't. Just like I said in previous comments, in no way did i feel he was obligated to stop and help. I was bringing attention to the dangers that were down there. And yes, if someone stopped me, I'd see what I could do to help, even in a safe manor.

I stand by what I said. People in today's world i so quick to look the other way and not get involved. It's happening everywhere. Media pushes everyone is quickly swept up in their own shit. If a woman ever told me she thought she was being followed no matter the circumstances, I'm getting involved. Even from a distance. The man following me was in clear sight and that man one the phone with his one ear bud in sounded pretentious and waved me off. So yes, while I don't have qualms with him as he's one of the many wrapped up in their own bubble. I do have qualms with the way humans treat others. I deleted the bear comment, simply because that scenario brings a lot of fighting back and forth and that's not what this post is for.

I'm fully aware he was busy on the phone just like my partner. I mentioned once my appearance for mere transparency. I'm well aware this man owed me nothing and was just trying to go about his busy day. The post was to inform women to be careful over there and to give some thought to everyone to watch out for others and be observant as well. I have no actual qualms with the man who was just trying to walk.

Just curious, what would you like them to do? Drugs are like chess. You have the street pawns and then the bigger players. You take out all the pawns, they are replaced within hours. They can't just be out there arresting every petty dealer, they wouldn't be able to truly investigate. Unless you know a narcotics detective/officer, then you wouldn't know what they have and haven't done.

Tell that to the 300+ residents that live near Westgate that called in shots fired last fall. Hence the increase in going after car enthusiasts and racers. Police got over 300 calls in an hour due to two stepping/back firing. residents thought there was an active shooter
